First, unplug it and let it cool down. Once cooled, wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth, and dry it off before storing it in a dry area. Avoid twisting or pulling the cord, and check it regularly for damage.

How does it work the detachable heads system?

At the top of the handle, there is a release button to be able to remove the heads, press down the button and remove the head. To attach the head again press down the button again and put the head at the top of the handle.
