Just as effective as SkinCeuticals. I'm probably seeing more efficacy with Minimalist than SkinCeuticals, probably because the price point allows me to use it more generously. I'm seeing the same results in terms of brightness. I'm probably never going to go back to SkinCeuticals. I'm glad I discovered Minimalist and The Ordinary. Both brands are just as good as high-end products, at least the ones I've used so far. FYI, I'm treating dull, aging, dry skin with minimal wrinkles, but crepeness under the eyes and large pores in the nose and apples of the cheeks. I'm using this in the daytime by layering with a peptide serum, an alphahydroxy serum, and a moisturizer with marula oil. It's unscented, but it doesn't have that funky hot-dog water smell ferulic acid is supposed to have, but it still seems to be working. I have had no irritation or issues since switching.

I was initially drawn to this product because the recipe is comparable to the nearly $200 Skinceuticals product and figured it was worth a shot. While I haven't touched that product, I did use Vichy Vitamin C & this product is infinitely better!! I saw visible brightening within a WEEK. I will however add that using more than a couple drops did significantly dry out my skin, I reduced how much I was using and achieved my golden ratio. This product is highly effective, sits well with my other products, no residue or piling. Now lets talk about the smell... it smells like a vitamin C, it's not uncommon for them to have a strange fragrance, i don't mind it, it goes away once the product is absorbed, don't let the fragrance push you away from this amazing product! 100% would recommend.

This is a good face serum. It is the only one I know of that contains ferulic acid - keeps the vit C from oxidizing, I believe.

i like the fact that it doesn't smell bad like alot of vitamin c+e+ferulic products-this is because instead of being the ascorbic acid form of vitamin c it's because it's the ethyl form-the ethyl form is just as effective as the ascorbic acid form

I think the product goes on nicely and makes my skin look good. I like that it is 16% vitamin C. The price is reasonable. However, there is a weird and unpleasant smell. kind of like burnt rubber/ hot dog water. it goes away after a few hours but I am not sure I can tolerate it and may not continue using it.

Vitamin C serum with zero frills. At almost 48, my skin was dull and dry. Perimenopause also caused my skin to look awful. I started to apply this and niacinamide serum daily to help with my skin’s texture and my pore size. It is seeming to work! I’d buy again for sure!

I absolutely love this product! It absorbs quickly, feels lightweight on my skin, and gives me a healthy, hydrated glow. I’ve been using it consistently and I can already see a big difference in the smoothness and brightness of my face. The packaging is clean and easy to use, and the dropper makes application super convenient. Definitely worth it — I’ll be buying again!

The chemical smell of this is so strong! Idk if its a bad batch but it smells like paint thinner. Made my face itch so bad! Yes I gave it a shot even with the smell because some vitamin C serum smell funky so I gave it a chance but its definitely going back.

This is very runny like water in consistency but if you are careful its fine. Good price, lovely quality, not irritating and I can wear it on my neck+under my eyes. I can wear it often and see my skin is brighter. The dropper works well and you only need a tiny it to cover the face+neck. Smells nice too!
