Great for Crabbing and Hoop netting floats
This led flashing light was just what I needed to finish my lobster hoop net floats. So much better then a glow stick and reusable too! You can see these things flashing from about a mile away. I rigged them to the top of my floats and they will run for over 24 hours on a cheap AA Battery. East to turn on and off and water proof. I have been using them for about 3 months now and the saltwater looks to have very little affect on them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good lights
ive been using these for a few years now hoop netting. overall I think they're pretty good. can see from far away. time to time one might go out. sometimes just need to smack it comes back on. but I do keep extras if I need to switch one out. if it doesn't come back on, not to often. overall good lights. I would recommend taking the batteries out during the off season. and rinse after use

Great flashers for lobster pots!
Very bright, waterproof and test of one AA battery lasted for 3 days Reallllllllly bright and 5 days visible (probably longer but add a bit of fog and distance and itโs not gonna get seen). Swivel on one end allows tying both ends and still being able to rotate the body to turn it on. Very good design and functional. Great price too.

Damaged light
Pretty cool when they light up but one of the lights falls apart, I believe it may have been damaged either at the warehouse or from the carrier who delivered the package which I really do NOT appreciate! This is a father's day gift!

No good for squid
They work. Let me rephrase that, they turn on and light up. Theyโre awful for attracting squid in the gulf of Maine. Stick to solid green or red. Tested on a commercial boat with several anglers testing various colors.

Will be easy to fish at night..
I received what I ordered and am ready to go lake fishing. The floats are heavy duty and display different colors..Should be days to see at night..

Scares fish but attracts children at xmas time
This scares fish rather than attracting them. It is bulky, heavy and the colours are flashing like crazy. I think the single colour non-flashing smaller version would work, but this is not it.

Arrived on time
They shipped on time and all 5 worked as advertised. I have tried them a couple of times during low or non-existent activity when ice fishing. I place it on the line about 4' above a bait/jig, and use a second line ( with no light ) close by. I typically don't "jig" the line with the light on it because it tends to spook some species. Seems to be effective in attracting lake trout. Other species do come around but they are a little more skittish. Of course it wont make them take a bait but it does seem to increase activity on the underwater camera.
