Review of Surge Protector, Outlet Extender with Night Light, Addtam 5-Outlet Splitter and 4 USB Ports (1 USB C), Multi Plug Wall Outlet for Home Office Dorm Room Essentials I have several regular, older outlets that I wanted to expand and include USB outlets, plus a nightlight. I wanted some surge protection as well. I also wanted to have the nightlights available by exit doors in the event of a fire/smoke. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of different devices here on Amazon. This brand, Addtam, seemed to be a popular brand with high ratings/reviews. I felt the price was reasonable too. I found that these are bright enough to give enough light, but not excessively so. I like that these have a sensor so that they come on automatically at night or in not enough lighting otherwise. I like that they also have the option to touch them with your finger and turn off/on the sensor and light. In the majority of cases, the 5-outlet splitter is plenty. Any more than that is really too much on an outlet in my opinion. I ordered 5 of these and all of them work flawlessly thus far. I also liked that they come with a screw so that you can secure them to the existing outlet for stability. They are bulky but are aesthetically pleasing for the most part.

I bought this surge protector for my home and it has been an excellent purchase. The design is modern, and the night light is soft and pleasant, perfect for a bedroom or hallway without being too bright at night. It offers multiple outlets and USB ports, including USB-C, which is very convenient for charging phones and other devices without extra adapters. It feels solid, safe, and well made. Very easy to install and helps save space. I highly recommend it for home or office use. Great product for the price.

So far so good. Looks good. I bought this to be able to plug in a luminous mirror without losing a plug. The plug always stays slightly warm, possibly because of the mirror’s night light feature that keeps the mirrors buttons illuminated. So far I have charged up an electric razor through the USB, and plugged in clippers , while the mirror stays plugged into it constantly., and it might warm up a little bit, but doesn’t seem to be a concern. Other reviews have mentioned that theirs have melted, or that the night light feature doesn’t work, but so far so good. I probably wouldn’t leave anything plugged into it or charging for long periods of time. Other than that I like the look, and it’s a good match for the illuminating mirror. I will update if anything goes wrong.

Works great. I guess I didn't read the product description very well because I was not aware it had led around the edge. Pretty luminous for its size. So I call that a bonus! 😁Touch-sensitive on/off is easy to use. Money well spent it would seem..

This is amazing! We’re constantly running out of plugs. This is perfect for our bedside tables where we charge all of our devices. I especially love that it has a night light that can easily be turned on or off. I bought one of these and immediately went back and bought another one! This will make charging all of your devices a breeze!
