Road Angel Halo View Mirror Dash Cam Front and Rear - Rear View Camera for Reversing and Parking

Im very happy with my purchase, however, on unpacking this dashcam I found that the sd card which was in a blister pack had already been pealed open, but the card snd adaptor was still in situe, and on a closer inspection I found another 32gb micro sd inserted in the dash cam mirror? I will he checking to see if there's any footage on ether of them before i even use it, its Like its been out and returnd at some point, also the film on the front lens looked like it had been removed and replaced?

We bought this for my wife's car and had it professionally installed. It was a little disoriented at first since the the rear view is from the camera, not a mirror. We had to submit a recording of an incident not 3 weeks later. I then went onto buy another for my Niece. They should be mandatory IMHO.

I was so super chuffed to be able to test out this Road Angel Halo View, as I have been toying with the idea of getting a dash cam for ages but just haven't got round to it. I have to say I am a bit of a technophobe when it comes to....well anything really lol, but I have to say this looks a really good piece of kit and even I can use it with ease. It fixes onto the rear view mirror and the camera is at the front side. There is then the rear camera that fits with a long wire to the back window. Now the only slight problem we found with this is that when you open the boot, it tends to pull the wire out on a hatchback. Not a major problem, more just a slight inconvenience. The rest of it is awesome and I am so impressed with it. I really like that even when it is switched on whilst driving, you can still see your rear view mirror and the added bonus of a reversing cam is superb for me as I am not known for being able to reverse park very well lol. The picture quality is spot on and I feel so much more at ease every time I get behind the wheel that this is recording everything. I haven't even looked into it yet but I think having a quality dashcam such as a road angel, your insurance comes down a little. Just another bonus of having an item like this in the car. I really like this dash cam and wouldn't hesitate to give it the full 5/5. Great stuff

I've had this Dashcam for 2 years now and still no idea how to work it! Got to the point where i use just like i would a rear view mirror! First off the lead for the rear cam isn't long enough to sit under the boot handle, even on my hatchback. So it had to sit inside the boot, which makes the reversing feature pointless. Secondly, it may be me and i perhaps need to look into it, but i cannot access the videos/pictures unless I'm sat in the car whilst being connected to it, and once i am connected it takes forever to even see or download a video/picture! Futhermore, when i did access the videos/pictures, they we're only from the rear camera and i couldn't find any front cam vids anywhere within the app! Again this may be me not looking hard enough, I'm not sure. I have to have the camera set to rear cam, which could be why i am only seeing those vids! Luckily i haven't needed any footage *touch wood* but if it comes to it, i couldn't be sure that i could rely on it.

Very pleased with the quality of pictures and the ease to fit in the car. Rear view camera provides excellent coverage and is better than the mirror. Only downside at the moment is that I have not been able to connect it to my phone so cannot produce recordings for viewing on the phone. I will persevere with that and hopefully will eventually get it to connect. I can still see the recordings on the screen should it be necessary for accident purposes and to show police but would be better if I could send them via phone.

So, I come to ask you to use the supplied components, if, however, you want to use component that were not supplied, you should make sure that it has the correct power, if the power is slightly above the recommended what can happen is that the camera works, but does not work correctly. One of the ways to test whether it is working properly is to check that the rear camera turns on automatically and the yellow lines appear, if the lines do not appear check the power before making modifications to your installation. As for the camera I am of the opinion that it is worth 5 stars for the quality of construction, image quality and ease of use, both in the App and directly on touch screen. Recently it saved me from a horrible situation that happened to me, because of this camera I was able to present the front and rear videos that clearly proved what really happened.

Dash cam is work fine but the reversing camera is very disappointing can’t see 1.5 meter while reverse remain blind spot.

A great mirror cam by a reputable brand. Does everything it promises but if you want the street cam you'll need to hard wire it. Very good bit of kit that won't disappoint.

Dans l'ensemble ce rétroviseur est vraiment pas mal. Les fonctionnalités sont développées les images propres et claires même avec un faible éclairage. Vu comme ça il est beau mais une fois en place, c'est un peu grossier, c'est gros, les attaches ne sont pas très belles et surtout les câbles qui arrivent dessus ça ne fait vraiment pas beau. On aurai préféré pouvoir les brancher derrière et pas au dessus. L'utilisation n'est pas trop compliquée, c'est assez user-friendly. Est-ce que ça vaut le coup en revanche je ne pense pas, encore moins sur une voiture récente.
