Ok. So first things first. Nothing is 100 percent effective that is designed to eliminate or prevent. Birth control for example. Do you stop using BC because it is not 100% effective? Just saying.... I will take a 95% reduction in mosquitos any day over no treatment or harmful sprays. Second, I believe operator error is the reason there is a lack of success for those that claim spartan tubes do not work. You MUST set a perimeter. Which means a minimum of 4 even if you have 1/2 acre. Keeping tubes away from where you sit, which may be hard for smaller properties. We have just shy of 5 acres. We follow the directions setting a perimeter away from congregating areas and refill with water as needed. So for our property we use 10 tubes which is 5 boxes. We rarely see a mosquitoe much less get bit by mosquitoes. I love these and hope they don't change the formula.

First of all, I live in South Florida (thank you, I appreciate your sympathy at this difficult time). From May to November, it rains every.single.day. And I was lucky enough to buy a house on 2 acres with about 100 cypress trees on the low-lying property. (Don’t worry - I’m getting to the point!) What we didn’t realize is that our property is MAJORLY in need of lots of fill and leveling because when it rains/pours my front and back yards turn into their own lakes. I’ve got about 3 separate ones, along with a half dozen mini ponds that pop up as well. And if we get enough rain, it’ll take a week of hot, 🥵 humid, Florida sunshine to dry them back up into normal grass. And these aren’t the fun “let’s get out the arm floaties and sip some margs” kinda lakes. These are the types of mosquito brothels that you wouldn’t BELIEVE!!! I have a screened in patio, but I have 3 dogs that are in and out of the yard, so we try to keep the door propped open but unless you’re covered head to toe, you’ll be eaten alive by mosquitoes the size of half dollars. (Sidenote: I do own a full beekeepers suit my mother bought my husband for lawn mowing when he was bitten by 2 wasps and we found out he was allergic. And I have no shame in admitting I’ve worn it as mosquito protection on the porch.) I found someone talking about this product on our towns Facebook page and I had to give it a try. I know the directions say to span it out a lot further but I put them on the two trees outside, closest to my patio. And promptly forgot about them for about a month. Someone posted again on the town Facebook, asking if they knew when they were spraying for mosquitoes because they were getting so bad. That’s when I realized that I hadn’t seen or been bitten by a mosquito. In a month. I checked on my husband and son. No bites. It’s now been 4 months and I haven’t had a mosquito bite yet. You need this product. Everyone needs it. It’s magical and I don’t even care what’s in it. Mosquitoes are the Devils House pet and this product 💯 delivers at keeping them AWAY!!

Nobody likes ex girlfriends, taxes, getting asked to tip on everything, and mosquitoes. Our country is more divided than ever (to those of you living in a future of divided states, this review was written in the “United States era”) but we can agree mosquitoes ruin lives more than any politician. I’d happy take four more years of Biden than having an oversized mosquito in office!! Anyways, my yard was a war zone. Would rather be in the Russian front with trench foot than enjoy my property I pay out the butt for. So I bought four of these and the mosquitos sorta effed off. I started mowing one day and noticed hordes of dead skeeters in em! That’s what I’m talkin bout! It’s eerie when you think of all the human dna collected throughout your yard, and I could probably sell some of that to the Chinese. In fact, Amazon, if you want me to broker you some of that hmu. This gets four out of five because I’ve only had for about two months. I have gotten lit up a few times by Charlie company but nothing like before. Buy some to win the fight friends.

First time we used these they worked great. This pack was a dud. Didn’t see any improvement. Will not purchase again. Not a value
