I’m a big fan of micellar water! I have lupus and VERY sensitive skin. Most moisturizers, except for very expensive serum types, do terrible things to my skin- no matter what they’re target group is. Cleansers do the same and toner can cause serious issues. This Micellar water is magic. Along with these microfiber cloths, I can go over my face a few times to remove even stage make-up and water proof product. It’s 100% non-irritating to my very sensitive eyes. If I’m wearing every day make up or no make up at all, usually a once over removes everything. Once I get a clean swipe, I use more micellar water and a fresh microfiber pad or cloth to gently go over my face in circular motions, as if I’m exfoliating, because even though it doesn’t feel that way, that’s exactly what’s happening. Micellar water itself is a great gentle cleanser designed to draw dirt and impurities out of your skin and even the softest microfiber clothes help it work to also remove dead surface skin cells. None of this leaves you with large open pores like washing with very warm water or steaming. It’s not necessary. It’s like a dirt magnet. This makes toner, which is designed to shrink your pores back down and remove oil from your face (which you then follow by using a moisturizer to replace the oils you just stripped from your face?). The properties of the micellar water have already cleansed your skin while leaving it moisturized. This is amazing for sensitive skin and it’s easy to do as often as you like without any irritation or wasting of expensive product. It’s a minimalist approach to skin care, which is honestly a big dollar industry and the more different products they sell you the more you might feel that you benefit. I feel like the less you do to your skin, outside of protection from the sun, the better off it is. This one product does almost everything you’ll need.

I’m seriously obsessed with this Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water! 💧 It’s incredibly effective at removing makeup and impurities without being harsh on my skin. A little goes a long way, so even though the bottle is a decent size, it lasts forever. I love how gentle it is—I can use it around my eyes without any irritation, and it leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without stripping it of moisture. The formula is super soothing, and it doesn't leave any greasy residue behind, which is a huge win for me. It’s now an essential part of my skincare routine, and I honestly can't imagine running out of it. This stuff works great even on waterproof make up.

This is the only cleanser I use on my face. It was recommended by a dermatologist and has improved my daily routine. Cleans well with no harsh chemicals that dry your face! Highly recommend.

You can buy this product at most stores but if you've never tried it I would highly recommend. Super soft and gentle on my skin.
