[edit] You can test these by dumping the contents of one capsul into a small dish of milk. Most probiotics will congeal the milk within 24 hours. These set up in just one, for me. Which means they are extremely powerful, despite not having noticable side effects. It also means they will immediately help with a lactose intolerance trigger. Eventually I'm going to do another test, and put up a time lapse video. IF THE MILK SHOWS NO CHANGE WITHIN A FEW HOURS, return them, you got a spoiled batch. Likely exposed to too much heat durring storage or shipping, that would be Amazon's fault and not the manufacturer's. [End edit] Had to take a heavy round of antibiotics for a MRSA infection. I had taken a less intense course of the same type previously, and my intestines made a lot of music. This time I didn't notice anything, other than the infection clearing up. They also help a lot if I accidentally consume lactose. Note; because of the enzymes, you should not have side effects. Some of the reviews say they didn't think they were working, that's likely because they were expecting intestinal upset. Unless these are the first probiotics you've ever taken, or you have some real serious intestinal issues, you shouldn't have side effects. If you do, consult a doctor, because you have something wrong going on in there. If these are your first probiotics, it would do you to switch to a lower dose probiotic, working your way up to higher doses, until you get your microflora balanced just a bit better. That way you aren't having a massive die off of bacteria, the good and bad stuff fighting each other and releasing toxins as they fall on the battle field. And try to avoid sugar as you get started, to prevent the bad bacteria from replenishing it's numbers while your trying to build up your defensive army and cull the enemy. This will greatly minimize side effects and shorten the length of time you may have them. There is a chance Amazon shipped you an expired bottle, but that would be Amazon's fault. Simply check the expiration date, then request a replacement. You can do that by going into your orders page, clicking the order, and finding the return or replace button.

These probiotic do the job! Take them a few times a week.

Price per count is deceiving because you have to take two a day. Others are one a day and much cheaper per month. Everything in it is great.
