Best all around Knife
This knife is the most useful knife I have. Sabatier great quality and the sharpening tool excellent. I use it for vegetables meat & Fish. Excellent for butternut squash

I bought this knife for a friend as I use mine daily. They are very happy with it. It fits safely in the drawer and sharpens every time you use it. Very easy and safe to use as it is sharp. I've had mine for a few years and would definitely recommend.

Great for now, but concerns about longevity
I’ve been using the Sabatier Edgekeeper Utility Knife for a few weeks now, and it does the job well. It's ideal for mincing herbs, cutting vegetables, and filleting fish, as advertised. The built-in self-sharpening feature is convenient, and the knife is sharp out of the box, making prep work easy and quick. However, after some use, I’m concerned that the blade might start dulling faster than I’d like. While it hasn’t lost its edge yet, it doesn’t feel like it will stay as sharp in the long run — possibly within the next couple of months. For now, it's a solid, reliable knife, but I’ll keep an eye on how long it stays sharp. Overall, a good buy for its price, but something to consider if you're looking for long-term durability.

Extremely good price for quality of the knife
Its a very good knife for the price sabatier is an extremely good brand. Its comfortable in the hand and having the knife sharpener built into the guard makes keeping it sharp so easy

Decent knife
I had to buy a new knife because all my other ones so blunt, and I was putting in so much elbow grease just trying to chop up my veg. One of my old neighbours said to me that I should get a Sabarier knife. So that’s what I did. It arrived with a safety guard on it, which is great because I keep it stored in the cupboard with the guard on. It’s sharper than my other knives which is what I wanted and cuts through veg well. I did give this knife a 3 out of 5 star because I think that’s it could still be a bit sharper. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase and the knife is functional and practical.
