Review: Excellent product - Very useful for floor exercises Review: BEST mat I've ever owned! Now I can actually stand to do yoga and other floor exercise! - As a 60yo woman with problem feet and arthritis (and hardwood floors), I have had a nearly impossible time trying to do yoga and other floor exercises, no matter what kind of mat I tried - even using THREE regular yoga mats stacked was not enough to minimize the PAIN I would experience in my feet, knees, hips and spine when trying to do floor work - or anything barefoot.... UNTIL NOW. Since this mat arrived I have been very happily getting through the yoga and other exercise that I have WANTED to be able to do for years! The cushioning is VASTLY superior over my previous system (THREE yoga mats layered) and SO much easier to take out and put away as well! I can finally be barefoot, and can be down on the floor without feeling like I'm being tortured! Excellent mat! I did purchase two, as it is narrower than I would like - but I also didn't want to spend over $100 for a wider one... So two it is! I'm currently waiting for some self-adhesive velcro squares to be able to stick the two mats together more securely. If they don't work, I will sew on some velcro by hand. It would be really nice if the manufacturer would stitch velcro to the sides of these (hooks on one long edge and loops on the other) so I wouldn't have to. :) EDIT TO ADD: My velcro wouldn't stay stuck to the mat, so am trying duct tape to keep the 2 mats together, and it is working great so far. Just be sure to tape them so you can still fold the mat one way. (See pictures) It makes a tall slim folded mat that will.fit, upright, against the wall in my closet. (ignore the little square imprints... I just used the mat before taking pics, and I had a chair on it for some exercises. The imprints go away in a few minutes) ## Features - Versatile Exercise Mat: Blue 3-panel 6 ft. x 2 ft. x 1.5 in. folding mat for gymnastics, yoga, Pilates, aerobics, martial arts, and more; offering a safer, cushioned surface for a variety of workouts - Extra Thick Comfort: 1.5 inches of padding cushions knees, back, and joints as you transition between exercises; reinforced stitching provides durable support for gymnasts and fitness enthusiasts - Non-Slip, Easy Clean Surface: Double-sided vinyl cover resists moisture and wipes clean after use; textured finish keeps the mat stable and secure on any indoor flooring as you jump or stretch - Connect Multiple Mats: Hook-and-loop edges support connecting multiple mats together to expand workout areas or keep the folded 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 4.5 in. dimensions firm to carry or store - Lightweight, Portable Design: Featuring built-in handles and weighing just 3 lbs for easy storage inside the closet, placement in your car, and transport to the gym, studio, or around the house ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B097HTMFVB | | Best Sellers Rank | #124,941 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #104 in Gymnastics Training & Tumbling Mats | | Brand | Signature Fitness | | Brand Name | Signature Fitness | | Color | Blue | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 842 Reviews | | Included Components | Gym Mat | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 182.9L x 61W x 30.5Th centimeters | | Item Highlight | with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts | | Item Type Name | 153 | | Item Weight | 18 Ounces | | Item weight | 18 Ounces | | Manufacturer | BalanceFrom | | Material | Vinyl | | Model Number | BFGM-153BLUE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | BFGM-153BLUE | | Product Care Instructions | Water,Soap | | Product care instructions | Water,Soap | | Product dimensions | 182.9L x 61W x 30.5Th centimeters | | UPC | 810082430851 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BalanceFrom - **Colour:** Blue - **Material:** Vinyl - **Product care instructions:** Water,Soap - **Product dimensions:** 182.9L x 61W x 30.5Th centimeters ## Images ![BalanceFrom 6x2 Feet 3-Panel Folding Gymnastics Mat – 1.5-Inch Thick Pad with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51WAAt8AbsL.jpg) ![BalanceFrom 6x2 Feet 3-Panel Folding Gymnastics Mat – 1.5-Inch Thick Pad with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OCDPqPRJL.jpg) ![BalanceFrom 6x2 Feet 3-Panel Folding Gymnastics Mat – 1.5-Inch Thick Pad with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CPWHLP0IL.jpg) ![BalanceFrom 6x2 Feet 3-Panel Folding Gymnastics Mat – 1.5-Inch Thick Pad with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71P9LsdqT5L.jpg) ![BalanceFrom 6x2 Feet 3-Panel Folding Gymnastics Mat – 1.5-Inch Thick Pad with Vinyl Surface and Carrying Handles for Tumbling, Yoga, Pilates, Home Workouts, and Martial Arts - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yJo7DrzfL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Could this be used as a sleep mat?** A: I slept on this a few nights and I woke body sore but that's to be expected because new muscles are activated compared to sleeping on your bed. I heard from an expert that you sleep on it for long enough and your muscles will not be sore after a while. It is firm, but still way better than sleeping on the solid floor! I just put it in my car for when I want to take naps on the road 🥰 **Q: Does this item really take a month or 2 to ship?** A: Ordered 1/4/20 Prime and "fulfilled by Amazon Services" but hasn't shipped as of 1/13/20. According to Amazon site it is in stock and we could have it Wednesday, 1/5/20 if we ordered now or nine days ago. We will see. **Q: will it slide around if I'm working out?** A: Mine does not slide around, but I am mostly doing exercises while lying on it. I have a wood-look vinyl floor. So I do not think it would slide but you could put something under it like the non-skid stuff for carpets. The mat is just wide enough to lie down comfortably like a yoga mat. **Q: Will a dogs nail puncture this?** A: I have had mine several months now and not once have my dogs nails ripped or made a hole, and they definitely need clipped😆 it has been extremely easy to clean as well. 5⭐s for sure! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by A***R on 27 April 2023* Very useful for floor exercises ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST mat I've ever owned!
