Charlotte Mason is a beautiful methodology of teaching and this book is full of wisdom and grace for the new homeschooling Mama.

I have learned so much from this book.

Print is great and easy to take notes on margins. Publishers did a good job reviving Charlotte Mason’s work.

Such a helpful tool for a stay at home mother to a five, three, & one year old. Helped with habits for my three year old, discipline for my one year old, and my five year old has started to read using her method!! Now a little bit of stuff is outdated but in many ways Charlotte Mason was ahead of her time.

I was a little worried because I have seen terribly published copies of CM works. This one is legit, and it's in the original form of English. Not modernized, which I prefer, because I worry about subtle meaning being lost in the modernized version.

This review is for the Living Book Press edition of Home Education - I was so excited to learn about the CM Home Education Series books finally being re-printed and published. I wanted the pink ones, but didn't want to pay the outrageous prices, so I had to read them online and/or have them pushed to my Kindle. Now I have an actual easy to carry book in my hands. I can make quick margin notes and have an easy go to reference any time.

I am oh so thankful for this new edition of Charlotte Mason's classic work! The new font is lovely -- much more readable than the original copies. And yet new fonts usually mean words in different places. What I am most thankful for is that Living Book Press took the time and effort to make this book match the original EXACTLY -- for those of us in book clubs, this makes the process of turning to the right place in the book easily done.

Charlotte mason is one smart lady… so smart that sometimes I have a hard time understanding what she’s saying haha! This book has a lot of great information but I find myself reading the same page 2 or 3 times and going “wait.. what is she saying??” Maybe it’s the older style of English/writing or maybe I’m dumber than I think haha definitely isn’t something I can sit and read nonchalantly, I have to be focused or else. I find a lot of the Information so valuable, just wish there was an audio version cause I think it might be easier to absorb the information.

This is a must read regardless if you are with or without children.
