My daughter who is now a graduate of SU wanted this book to help her study for a test engineers take, and she passed! It had the info you need to become an engineer and to do well on the test.

Good reference, will help combined with other books

However be aware you should be using the NCEES reference handbook while you study. 4 stars because it's very helpful, not 5 stars because it's an older book labeled as a newer book. Consequently, there are some chapters that are no longer being tested in the exam (e.g. "differential equations" under the mathematics section is in this book but not on the exam). That being said, it gets the job done. You will pass if you apply yourself. Reddit and YouTube helped me a bit but this book was my main studying tool. Thank you Mr. Lindeburg, very cool!

I passed the first time, I just went through the entire book. Even if some of the problems are not relevant to the exam it still activates that problem solving part of your brain to make you solving these problems faster. I finished nearly an hour early on the exam and I'm usually the last person to finish a test.

The one I wanted

I overall am a good test taker and tend to do well in school. With the test approaching our school was pushing the use of the online studying tools however I much prefer the use of pen and paper. I ordered this book. I did all of the problems through twice in the month leading up to my test and was able to pass on the first try!

Just do every problem without cheating. All you need.
