I never grilled before, and had just started this summer. So, this set seemed to be what I was looking for, especially something to track the temperature of the meats. Opening the packaging was simple, the products seemed to be of good quality, and sturdy enough to last more than one summer. And they came at a great time: Fourth of July weekend! I was looking forward to using the thermometer the most and was pleasantly surprised. It has an on and off button with a clear display of either Fahrenheit and Celsius - there’s a button to switch between the two - and two other buttons I haven’t gotten’ around to use. The gloves may look a bit sketchy, but I already use a cooking glove of similar material for the oven. Only this doesn’t have fabric-like material inside; it’s all plastic-like material. A bit of a tight fit to get my hands in, though they must be so straight out of the packaging. Seems to be a one size fit all since it felt like it was flexing around my hands. But they worked like a charm. Straight off the grill or out of the oven, I didn’t have to worry about burning my hands like I usually do. The meat shredders - what I originally thought were meat picker uppers - I might not have much need for, unless I need to shred some pulled pork. I might try them out to also pick up meats or flip them on the grill, especially the larger ones, like a slab of ribs or a porterhouse steak. Or even to pull apart ribs. Overall, very happy with the purchase. About $20 for a set of BBQ tools someone might not even know they need, but once they get them, will know they actually needed them to keep everyone’s belly happy during the summer.

This summer, one of the items that was on my list was finding the perfect BBQ'ing accessories. I am so tired of the bulky ones that are so difficult to store and clean. I have definitely found it with these! Not only does it simplify the process of cooking, they are easy to wash, and store as it's not as bulky as traditional BBQ accessories. I think my favorite factor (and amazement) was with the gloves that allows you to handle the food with so much ease, and they are burn proof. I could feel the heat, but it was not uncomfortable at all. The gloves were slightly big for me but it did not cause any issue with handling the cooking and I like the factor that it's one size fits all so my husband can cook as well and we don't need multiple sets! The meat thermometer is an added bonus, and can easily switch back from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I'm looking forward to cooking pulled pork next and utilize the forks (pictured with my son who thinks they came from Wolverine himself!) This is definitely one purchase worth it's value and I'm looking forward to a long summer season of BBQ'ing that doesn't come with so much clean up and hassle. This will make a great gift as well as priced user $20, you will be sure to get invites after giving a gift like this!

First off, the quality of these products is great. I was a little worried about the gloves being a plastic material, but they work very well. The thermometer is probably my favorite item out of this package. I can check meat temps, I can view the hottest and coldest measured temps in one 'stick', and there is a very handy 'hold' button so that I don't have to stick my head over the grill and possibly catch my hair on fire while checking a temperature on the thermometer. The claws are great, and yes I know they're supposed to be used for pulling apart meat, but they also work well for flipping large pieces of meat on the grill. My one concern was the gloves. The plastic type material is not the issue I thought it would be, but these gloves are on the small side. I can use them, but my husband can not. They also are not super flexible, so if you're expecting to get individual finger movement while wearing them, you won't. These are purely for grabbing hold of large, hot items and moving those items somewhere else. I had a hard time using the gloves and holding my BBQ fork, as an example. The grip is super helpful, when I had my large dish of ribs and was carrying it inside, it didn't slide, and the gloves worked perfectly.

I got this grill set so that I could start to take my grilling to the next level. I am a total novice at grilling, and thought, “I need to have the right gear to be good.” Unfortunately, this set did not make me a grill master, but that is my fault not the gloves. On first impression, the gloves were a little disappointing, because they are a little too snug on my hands (I’m 6’1” and have average sized hands, I’m not like Wreck it Ralph or anything), and they are covered in little hearts. However, I found that although they are snug, I was able to easily grip anything I needed including opening the thermometer packaging. While using the gloves I felt zero heat from my bbq, even when the top rack fell off and onto the grill. I loved the easy to read thermometer, because we mostly cook poultry and fish. I am colorblind and cannot tell by color when it is cooked. The display isn’t lighted, but is easy enough to read without the light. The claws actually fit my non-cartoon hands really well and are fantastic for shredding crock-potted beef and chicken for sandwiches and burritos. Bottom line, this is a great product for anyone who wants to grill beginners and experienced alike.

This 3 piece set is wonderful! It comes with the gloves, meat claws, and thermometer. I bought it because we grilled for Labor Day weekend and everything worked perfectly well. We used the gloves to pick up the corn and meat skewers off of the grill and our hands didn't get burned. Then, we used the meat claws to cut up some brisket and it shredded the meat precisely the way we wanted it to. The thermometer helped us make sure the meat was cooked thoroughly, and we were able to serve our guests delicious food. I would definitely recommend this set to my friends and family. It's worth the wait!

These are a very nice set of heavy silicone gloves! We use them for our grill and manipulating large cuts of cooking meat (Like packer brisket) from grill to pan or searing station. Easy to clean and resist high heat very well. The meat claws are also effective for shredding meat like pork for Pulled Pork. We don't use them for moving meat, but some will find that use as well. The inclusion of an instant-read thermometer just makes this an even better deal! All in all, this is a great combo of good products and a super price. Recommended!

the products are okay at best, not great. the digital thermometer included is pretty cheaply made and i had trouble changing over from fahrenheit from celsius even though there is a single button that is supposed to change it. the gloves are okay. i used them while smoking a boston butt. i don't recommend using the heat resistant gloves when adding wood chips or refilling the water tray. granted it did prevent my hand from burning, but still think that other gloves probably do a better job of preventing the transfer of heat. not only this, but once i did use the gloves to transfer the butt, grease/meat/etc stuck to the gloves and i could barely get them off. nothing short of shaking my hands frantically got the gloves off since gripping with greased gloves doesn't work. the "meat claws" are great, ergonomic and easy to clean.

I decided to get this barbecue accessory kit because July 4th was around the corner. I mainly needed the thermometer and gloves but the meat claw looked interesting so I sprung for it. I really like the thermometer and it’s pretty fast in giving a reading. The claw turned out to be a surprisingly useful and fun little tool to use. I’ve only tried it on chicken breasts and pork so far and it’s worked pretty well to shred meat for my sandwiches and sloppy joes. The gloves are heat resistant like stated and I actually really like the tiny heart designs on it. But I wish they had the option of a different color like black because the gloves are a really bright shade of orange. Overall though I’d say this is a pretty good bbq kit
