I want to monitor device B all day,every day.  If that device tries to call my device A, will the monitor bottom stay on?

For monitor mode,you can know more detals as follows:
Step1:device A press the code number of the device B and press the monitor button to send a monitor requirement.
Step2: device B press the CALL/OK button to accept the monitor requirement.Then both enter the monitor mode.device A can hear the voice from the device B and device B cannot hear the voice from device A.
Step3:If the device A press the CALL/OK button again,device A and  device B can communicate with each other like a normal call.
Step4:If either device press the CALL/OK button again.the call will hang up.
Please note:when the device enter the monitor mode,if the device B press the CALL/OK button again,it will hang up the call directly.
