This is my first flatbed, and I don't think I'd go back to a turntable. It is easy to clean and the non-stick lining is great and looks well made. Just a wipe with a soapy cloth. The microwave cooking seems uniform (I really use for ready-meals), and I can use larger and rectangular containers too. This is also the first time that I've had an inbuilt grill and it is impressive with almost instant heat and cooking fish was quick and they browned nicely. Jacket potatoes are fast plus get a crispy jacket. You can use a combination of microwave+grill and can select the proportion of each to be used and here the instruction manual is very useful. For simple microwaving it works so logically even a child could guess it, if they can overcome the child lock! Strangely, and cleverly, the control panel won't work until you open the door, so little fingers don't start it accidentally. (After the initial opening the controls work whether the door is open or closed). A niggle, and I was about to return the machine because of it until I worked out what the instructions meant: the beep is loud and it beeps a lot. It will beep when the cooking is done and then beep every two minutes until you open the door. Poor neighbours! However you can mute the sound completely: open the door, press the child lock once, quickly, and "off" appears briefly. The downside though is it doesn't tell you when the cooking has finished. Overall, excellent machine, large enough for couples (bigger version available for families), it is compact, well made and I'd recommend it, even with the b**ping beeping sound!

It’s a good microwave, although it doesn’t always heat the way I want—maybe I’m not using the right settings (I mostly just press start for general heating, so it’s the universal option). The flat surface is brilliant for cleaning. It has tons of functions for someone who likes to explore them, but for me, it’s a bit too much.

Super easy to use and we love the flat bed design! It is so much easier to clean, bigger space to put multiple cups/bowls to reheat drinks/food. Food is heated up evenly despite not having a turntable. At 800w, it is reasonable for normal small family use. We are very happy with the product at this price point.

Really nice microwave . Great functionality ( although like most items nowadays you never seem to use most of it ) and it does work really well . Easy to use. I was slightly sceptical of it not having the usual rotating turntable but this straight forward, flat bed, approach does work extremely well. Took a short while to get used to having the extra power compared to my previous machine however I can highly recommend this . Great machine and great value .

Not cooked anything as only arrived today but have heated soup, coffee etc. and am very happy with my purchast. Easy to set up and use. Highly recommend.

Utter rubbish is the title and utter rubbish is the item. I have owned this microwave for just 2 years, replacing an old Panasonic that went on for around 30 years! That eventually gave up the ghost to have a very well earned rest! This Sharp unit has only had minimal use but is very badly rusted and with flaking paint all along the inner compartment front lower seams and also at the lower rear compartment seams. I have to also add that the grill facility is completely useless. Used only a couple of times when we first got it and gave up trying because you could cook/brown food quicker by holding a lighted match over the food! My advice for anyone looking for a microwave….get another brand than this.

Mine has gone rusty inside after 16 months. Not sure if I should continue using it. Shame because it is a good microwave.

This microwave / grill is perfect fit in my caravan . Had to use adapter on power cord . But am quite pleased with appliance .

This microwave is simple use and best of all "no turntable" makes it easy to clean, more internal space allowing square/rectangular cookware to be used (Microwave safe that is). This particular model is not available in Australia, I wanted it because it fits into my caravan perfectly (and no turntable). Thanks to Amazon for importing it from the UK. (same mains voltage as Australia).

Microwave looks great, but was sent with a UK plug to Australia. Don't want to cut the plug off otherwise I would void my warranty. Unfortunately, I will have to return it.

the grill function is a gimmick and only grills the middle
