Kind of like a light shade to darker shade. **Q: The product desprition says it contains black/green/silver, but the images also shows yellow and red - how many colors are in this pack?** A: My pack had red and silver invisible in a welding hood. **Q: Where is the sharpener** A: Its under the back cap where you load the lead (so to speak). You take the back cap off and put the "just the tip(hahaha)" in and sharpen it. **Q: are there white refills for pen $** A: The kit did not come with any white. I do not know if they make them or not. The kit did come with silver, which works great on darker materials, and the red works great on silver materials. They take a standard drafting pencil lead. Hold it like a pen, and it sticks to steel just like soap stone!!!! It is very brittle though, so you have to be very careful with it!
