Much better than regular light bulbs when bright light is needed.
Great for anyone wanting bright light. I used two of these in my garage door opener and my garage is extremely well lit when I get home in the night. Great for security and peace of mind.

Nice upgrade for a mercury-vapor bulb in an existing fixture
Used one of these to replace an old mercury-vapor bulb. Similar brightness, lower cost and longer life. I did need to bypass the ballast, but easy enough for me, otherwise uses the same fixture and photo-cell.

Bright lights.
These are amazing light bulbs for a garage or outbuilding. My 2 car garage was dark and hard to see until I put 2 of these bulbs out there. 100% difference. Will be buying more to put in my other garages.

Big and Bright!
This light is extremely bright and very big. Bigger than I expected. 9 inches long, 3.5 inches diameter. It works great in my application.
