Great rug pad if you want to add sturdiness and heft to a thinner rug! I used this under a Loiloi rug in my bedroom and have been very happy with it. It was easy to trim to size and it adds so much more cushion to rug, making it seam thicker and more luxurious. Definitely functions great and stays in place. Worth the investment!!

I bought the .13” thickness which was a perfect size for my runner. I was able to trim the length to fit. Prevents movement of rug and corners stay down. It did have an odor, but went away after airing outside. Would highly recommend and will buy again.

I’m sure this is a fine rug pad. Looking at pictures, I ASSumed it was waterproof. Just warning anyone that wants to put it in your kitchen—I wanted to protect my floor from sink splashes, etc. Anyway, it didn’t stink. Wrinkles were bad, but we had a tube we had something else delivered in so we wrapped tight and it worked pretty well. I wish they would deliver wrapped in tube. That was the main reason I rated 4 stars. I didn’t downgrade for my stupidity…

Perfect for my rug. Goes underneath and gives the perfect amount of padding that I need on my rug to lie on my hardwood floor. This truly is a right amount of sturdiness and comfort for a layer of protection. Also, it really works 100% at not letting the rug on it move around the room. I will say the 1/4 inch is pretty thick. So make sure this protector is a little smaller than the rug that is lying over it, or you will have to trim it. It lay down perfectly and it had no smell like previous reviews had mentioned.

This mat works great in my apartment that has no carpeting. Transition from area rug to floor is minimal with this thickness. Still, it has good spring to it.

This will do the job, but I expected better based on the reviews. It adds some cushion and keeps the area rug in place, but it is not quite as cushiony as expected. I will keep it though because it was the best price and it was a pain moving all the furniture to get it set up.

Don't count on scissors to trim - you'll need a carpet knife or heavy exacto/utility blade, keeping a piece of wood underneath to protect the floor. Satisfactory product, doing what it should.

Very good quality however I did find it a bit pricey.
