Finally decided on these piggy bank jars. They are plastic which was a must for us. We are a family of 4 boys so I did not want to risk one of the kids breaking one accidentally. They are clear which is exactly what I needed so my kids could see what money was in there as I am teaching them how to budget and I want to make the concepts of saving, spending, gifing and investing more concrete and get them to really understand and grasp the concepts. I also love that they are plane so I was able to print a label with their name on each jar they have and what it was for e.g. budget catalogues (save, spend etc..) they are functional and durable enough. Design is great so they look decent on their shelves. I definitely recommend these to anyone trying to teach kids about saving money and budgeting.

These are great for reward jars for kids. Put a label on them and place them where the kiddos can see them. When they do random good things, surprise them with a few coins to encourage the behaviors you want to see. They can do their own shopping on Amazon then and start filling it again!
