Worth it!
These are nice sturdy cards. I love how they are on a ring so they will stay together. I have 3 sets of them. Calm down cards: These cards would make a great addition to a calm down corner or station. I think the panda was a good choice to use for the cards. He looks so friendly, inviting and calm as do the background images on the front and back of the cards. I plan on using these for students in my third grade class who struggle with anxiety and/or calming down. Math strategies: These cards would be great at a homework station at home when your kiddo is stuck, or used for specific students or a math center aid in the classroom. My 6 year old daughter recognized each of the strategies listed and understood that different strategies are better in different situations. I think that the strategies on the cards are straightforward and simply stated so students can use them independently once they can read. PreK learning cards: These cards are perfect for my daughter who is going into preschool this fall. They are good practice for skills she mostly knows (ex. colors and the alphabet). The cards will be good to revisit throughout her first and second year of preschool to help teach her and reinforce skills that she is learning in school.

Good ideas, easy to read
I bought these for my two year old. She struggles with her emotions and the pictures make them clear on ideas to help calm down. They are easy to use. I l have gotten many ideas from them for myself.

Helpful anxiety tools
Bought these for my 10 year old daughter who has anxiety. These little cards are great for her to independently work through her anxiety and give her ideas of how to distract herself. Plus the panda is really cute. A great little tool in her “calming box”.

Perfect for non-readers!
This review is part of a Carson Dellosa product review program. I review the product provided to me free of charge. Opinions are my own. The first thing I noticed about these cards was the simple pictures. As a Kindergarten teacher most of my students are unable to read when they begin Kindergarten. The pictures on these cards are very easy to understand and offer many choices that would be appropriate choices in our classroom when a student needed to take a break. Although the amount of choices would be overwhelming, it would be easy to limit the choices by taking some off of the key ring. This will be a resource that I will be using in the fall in my classroom!
