Chefman Electric Wine Opener W/ Foil Cutter, One-Touch, Open 30 Bottles On Single Charge, Automatic Corkscrew & Foil Remover, Rechargeable Battery, 110 Watts, 120 Volts, Stainless

I don't even recall all the different brands of electric openers we've tried, including all the top-rated ones on Amazon. This seems to be the best so far. It seems to have more torque than the others, which was most important to us. The lit charging base works well, and it's easy to align the unit in the base. One minor gripe is the foil cutter storage. It's kind of goofy how it stores in the base, but we're getting used to it. Would prefer if it just had a slot. It's too soon to assess longevity, but that will be the next thing to watch. All the predecessors did not last very long.

I bought this because my daughter told me she has had one for 4 years and it still works great, and they do enjoy wine and use it. It is so comfortable to use; I have shoulder problems so that is important. I've used it for about a month now which is longer than the $$$ one from Williams Sonoma which died an ugly death. And it doesn't twist forcibly and hurt my shoulder like some of the other ones I've had. So I am very impressed. The accompanying foil cutter is the best I've ever had, by the way!

ordering another , my wife thinks this is better than most presents lol . for the men out there that want to make there wives happy with a gift they will use everytime they need a fresh bottle opened , no more missing kick - off lol and even if you still get it , it takes 10 seconds . no searching for the wine opener anymore . this and a 1k gift card to your wives favorite nail salon and your big Xmas or whatever is taken care of and your wife will love you every two weeks when they treat her like a rock star and the other wives that were there when you bought it tell stories about you the rest of their lives lol :) Most Importantly to see how happy your wife is for most of the year makes this and that my favorite gift combo , change it up from jewelry .

I love mine, and buy ones to put into my gift baskets to raise money for The Chamber of Commerce, My church, and for gifts for family and friends...Very easy if you like wine to get the cork out with no hassle. Also it takes a long , long time before you have to plug it in to charge...Everyone that has one loves theirs. If you like wine and need an easy cork opener...just remember don't force the opener put it on top after the top foil is taken off, there is a thing there for it, then put cork remover on top of bottle , and let it do it's work, it will raise the cork off then release the cork...I use mine for months before it needs charged and the charger comes with it...Easy, wonderufl!! I got this opener to replace an Oster model. I have actually had two openers made by Oster. I finally got fed up with the Oster openers losing their charge. This opener is hefty and has a substantial weight to it when held. I have opened around a dozen bottles with it so far. Here are my impressions: * I like the stainless steel design but for some reason not as much a fan of the blue LED. * The corkscrew on this opener is a lot thicker than the Oster so there is more cork damage when opening. * The Chefman does open consistently and has enough torque for tough corks or the synthetic ones. * The foil cutter that comes with this opener is among the first I've had that actually cuts cleanly through foils. * It is a bit cumbersome to get the opener back on the charger stand. The Oster would click in place and this one more or less sits on the base and will illuminate the tacky blue LED when good contact is made. * The plus/transformer is a bit large to put behind furniture so you'll need an extension to keep it from interfering with furniture (i.e. my wine cabinet). Overall - this holds its charge well and opens well. I have not had the Chefman long enough to know how the battery will last. So far I am pleased with its appearance and performance. It travels well and does a decent job of uncorking wines.

We purchased one to try it out. It was much harder for my spouse to use the manual corkscrew. We both like it and I have fun using it. I would give it 5 stars but 4 simply because even when fully charged, it seems to struggle with the corks. I've thought it was going to break numerous times but it's still working so I guess it's ok. I've seen others at friend's houses that don't seem to struggle but they've also paid more money. Not sure why. If the only complaint is it seems underpowered but still removes the cork, then I'd buy it again...and that's what we did. Purchased one for our 82 year old aunt and she loves it. No more wrist twisting for her.

Works well, easy to use

Bought this 18 months ago for my wife. Works perfectly. We open several bottles of wine a week and have had no problems. I would suggest holding the bottle and opener firmly then let the opener do all the work. Do not try to help it or force it by pushing up or down. This may be why some are experiencing breakage. Just bought 2 more for my friends as a gift. Also, once the cork is out of the bottle, reverse the motor and let cork come out on its own. Flip the cork over and it will fit right back in the bottle. Great Product. We leave ours on the charger at all times because the blue light looks kind of cool on our counter.

Product broke after a few months of usage. If you are going to buy one of these better invest in paying a bit more for the higher quality

We drink enough wine to know. Lol Years ago I bought a powered wine opener for my in-laws, the thing was absolutely fantastic and it looked just like this one. I paid about $170 for it and that was almost 6 years ago. They still use it and it still works great. Since then, I’ve looked for something similar, as of the store, I bought it from stopped carrying them shortly afterwards. We purchased a number of these trying to have a similar experience to the one that I purchased for my in-laws. . Even the cuisine art, and other well-known brands, do not work as well as whatever is going on inside of this one. At this price point, when I paid for it, it was about 60 bucks, you can’t lose. I highly recommend this product, it’s a delight to use, and it looks great on the stand with the blue light underneath. People always ask about it and it’s honestly a complete and total pleasure to have.

Me llego antes de la fecha señalada, su estetica tanto del destapador como de la base que se ilumina con una luz led azul es excelente , muy funcional y sencillo con solo colocarlo sobre la botella retiras el corcho con pulsar un boton. El producto se ve de buena calidad en sus materiales.
