With the crazy high GPU prices, I will be holding off on getting a gaming desktop PC. So instead, I needed to alleviate my struggling laptop that only had 6GB of VRAM and it was eating into my RAM which was maxing out both. I only had 16GB RAM, so I decided to upgrade to 32GB. These RAM sticks were compatible with my laptop and had the same speed as my previous RAM, and they seemed like a good value. I simply swapped out my old RAM for the new RAM and I had no issues with it booting and recognizing the RAM and it was already at the right speed too. This wasn't as good as upgrading my graphics card, but it definitely helped give my laptop some breathing room while gaming. Very satisfied with the purchase

Very nice ddr4 cards, no issues. It appears Silicon Power is staying competitive with their market pricing.

Pros: Excellent value! Tested 100% good, relatively fast, stable 3200MTs (1600MHz) @1.2v Excellent JEDEC profiles Samsung DRAMs (but not B-dies) Dual channel, Dual Rank Cons: tRAS of 52, 47 expected tRFC of 560, 514 expected No XMP profiles - May be my MB/BIOS, which does not support XMP. Other Notes: Both DIMMS had the same S/N. Not sure if that is because it is a kit - but, I've not ever seen that before. Expensive brand name DDR4-3200 CL22 RAM it replaced had a tRFC of 880!

I bought the 2x 16 GB kit for my laptop (HP with I5 1135G7). It worked flawlessly, no issues, even after testing for errors, and worked at 3200 MT/s. My main concern is that this kit (green PCB with 8 memory chips, 4 per side)) uses Hynix 16 Gbit MFR, so each stick only has one rank of RAM. Picture in the description shows a stick with 16 memory chips (8 per side), which enable two ranks per stick. Yes, it is a minor thing, but at times having double rank, dual channel RAM is 5-10% faster than single rank, dual channel. And i expected to get double rank DIMMs based on the description. Performance wise, for the sticks i got, its perfectly okay. Very good RAM for daily use with heavy Chrome use and some Excel, nothing too heavy. But Excel can benefit from double rank DIMMs, so that's why i'm deducting one star, for the false advertising. Product, works, works VERY well and arrived fast, so it's not like i got scammed altogether.
