The JOOLA Vision is a mid-weight pickleball paddle averaging 7.8oz.

What is Grip measurement?

The most recent one I purchased was about 4.25… maybe a bit larger. It’s worth noting their most recent release of this model has changed the grip shape so it’s more oval, whereas the shape was closer to square when it was initially released. But Joola’s quality control is so bad there is no guarantee what kind of grip size you’ll get. From my experience, you can try 10 of the same model Visions at your local court and all of them will have slightly different grip shape and size, weight, and balance.

What is the difference between 14mm and 16mm?

Generally, 16mm paddles feel more plush on contact with the ball, and have a larger sweetspot than 14mm paddles. Most players think that makes 16mm paddles easier for control. The primary benefit of the 14mm is it swings lighter. Some thinner paddles also produce more power than their thicker counterparts, but I don’t think that’s the case with the Vision.

Like playing a different game. Unreal spin and control.

So good it doesn't seem fair. I've gone from playing with a beg/mid level paddle (Onix Z5) to this one and honestly, it's like playing a different game.

From wooden to carbon

Coming from a wooden paddle to this carbon paddle. Prime day I saw this vision paddle on sale took the leap and purchased. I am loving every moment of play with this paddle. Slicing, spins and control is amazing, I have been getting better at the game because now i have a paddle that can allow me to achieve new movements. Stock grips were "Meh" at most did not like the feel of it. I pared with hexacore and some tacky overgrips works well with sweaty palms.

Great paddle

This was a great paddle. I purchased it when I was looking to level up my game into a more intermediate play. Before buying though, I recommend finding a paddle thats right for you. This one is more elongated, good grip, and a bit of pop to it.
