There are 30 different designs (with 2 copies of each design for a total of 60 coloring pages.) The designs are quite detailed and some contain small areas to color. The designs; however, are not what I consider intricate and difficult to color. The word Kawaii is Japanese for cute. The girls in this book are definitely cute and have a kind of manga style about them. They are more mature than the girls in Jade Summer's “Chibi Girls” coloring books but still have large eyes and lots of fun personality. There are so many girls in different scenarios, including: princess, witch, mermaid, scientist, Native American, school girl, angel and much more. While you can have access to .PDFs when you purchase this book, my review is based on the book as it is received from desertcart. That way you will know what the pages look like and how they accept color. I like that the publisher provides the digital version as well so you can choose the paper you wish to use and/or to color the pictures as many times as you choose. This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing the paper with my coloring medium: 30 x 2 each cute Manga style Kawaii girl designs for a total of 60 coloring pages Designs are printed on one side of the page Paper is typical of CreateSpace: white, thin, slightly rough and non-perforated. The back of the page is printed black. The designs do not merge into the binding. There is a heavy framing line at the outer edges of the design to give the project a more finished look, especially for framing. Glue Binding (there is room to cut the pages out if you choose to do so.) Though you cannot see the bleed-through easily due to the back of the page being printed in black, I recommend the use of a blotter page when working in this book. I use a page of card stock or several sheets of heavyweight paper under my working page. It keeps seeping ink and marring dents from ruining the pages below. Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page quickly. Water-based markers bleed through in spots. Gel pens and India ink pens leave shadows on back of the page. India ink can bleed through if you apply heavily or multiple coats. Coloring Pencils work well with this paper. I found that I could layers the same color for deeper pigment or multiple colors and I could blend easily using a blending stick. I tested both oil and wax based pencils. I also found that hard lead pencils leave dents through the paper. Review: Gorgeous Art. - When I received my Kawaii Girls coloring book I was surprised at how much I loved it. I was expecting the average book for thre price. It wasn't the average book. It was far more beautiful than I expected. The pages are filled with large life like pictures that still contain lots of details drawn in a way that helps me perfect making them come to life. If you mess up there is another copy and a free digital copy to go with. There are also free samples for other books in the back. I love the free samples because it gives me the opportunity to experience what I'm buying before I invest in it.

Best coloring book ever
I love this book. I get it for Christmas. I was surprised to find out the pages are black on the back of the pages to prevent bleeding. I was also shocked to find out it was a double book. so I get 2 of every picture. Biggest surprise of all is the fact I get a code for the PDF of the book and can print as many pages as I want. One of my best Christmas presents. I also love the pictures that came in side. I am a big anime fan and it is very hard to find well made Anime coloring books. I am so happy with my books.

Beautiful illustrations!
The pictures are very beautiful, and the themes on each page are diverse. Although, if you happen to use markers you’re going to need to put a scrap piece of paper in between the pages because it will bleed through. Even though the black side is supposed to keep that from happening, so that’s kind of disappointing. But, all in all, it’s a very nice book!

My favorite books!
Love Jade Summer books, I now have 8. I'm new to adult coloring but these are truthfully my favorite books. I just want to get them all. The hard part is deciding which one to color. You can't go wrong with any of these books. My only issue was the delivery. Ordered on Aug 1, should have been delivered Aug 3 but wasn't shipped until the 3rd and received on the 5th. That is my only complaint.

Fun!
I love all the Jade Summer coloring books. There are two of each picture and only on one side of each page. The pictures always have a lot of details to color and the Kawaii girls are always fun. If you enjoy this one, look at all the other books in the Jade Summer line. There is something for everyone.

Cute, cute, cute!
Such a cute coloring book! Jade Summer does Kawaii just right! These girls are super cute and you get 2 images of each plus a PDF download so you can print them out on card stock if you wanted! The images are single sided and I love the black on the back of the pages. It masks bleed through if you use alcohol markers! The paper is average quality, a little bit heavier than your standard copy paper. Very cute images!

This is an excellent colouring book. Great for using markers, without any bleeding.

Een geweldig boek om samen te kleuren met je kinderen als zij je hobby delen. Doordat je ook de digitale versie krijgt kan ik dezelfde pagina samen met de twee dochters inkleuren. We hebben er al veel plezier van gehad.
