How do you activate the microphone to make the light flash to the music? I see no instructions on how to make it flash

I kept pressing the button and cycling through the colors until it got to a multicolor mode and that one is sound-reactive.

Can it light up 2 different colors at the same time as in picture?

I think the two colors that you may be referring to is when it is playing to the beat of the music that is the only time I have seen the different colored lights.
