Thumping bass
For such a small sub this thing thumps nicely. It’s enough to make the mirrors shake. It won’t drop as hard as a big 12, but it certainly punches well above its weight. Seriously impressive and amazing value considering it’s active. The high level input also works well as does the auto power feature so no need to run rca or remote power cables

Great little sub
After upgrading speakers and adding an amplifier to my Transit custom I was still not happy with the sound. Once I installed this subwoofer that all changed as it has balanced the whole system and has added a good thumping base. Highly recommend!

Good while it lasted
Was great and produced outstanding bass for an 8" sub, while it lasted. Used including wiring kit and after roughly 30 mins when turned car off and on again it started flicking in to protection mode when the bass hit. Did various troubleshooting including running to another earthing point (sanding paint off so get a good earth), checked voltage from car and producing 14.1v when engine running. Also swapped rca cable and even tried headphone jack to rca cable to rule out my pioneer stereo but still unable to resolve. Returned.

Boomy compact subwoofer.
Was looking to add bass to my little Suzuki Alto. As you can imagine the original two 4inch paper speakers were inadequate, so added a pair of Vibe 4inch 2way components and a pair of 6x9 which dramatically improved sound quality. However deep bass was missing and since space was a premium was looking for a compact subwoofer. The In-phase XTB828R certainly provides decent bass for the size and price. Considering it's an 8inch sub with a passive sound radiator, and comes with all the necessary wiring, you can't go wrong. One thing to note when I first installed it, the bass seemed underwhelming i.e. not loud. But adjusting the output gain from my head unit sorted that out (Not the same as volume!).Overall a decent sub to add some bass. Wont shake any windows but hey I think it works best in a small car. If you you have a normal sized car you would need a 12inch sub ;)

Was good while it lasted
I was quite pleased and surprised with this little fella at first. For its size it was quite loud and had enough punch for me. But after about a month it just stopped working. Thought was a speaker wire issue or something else, but when i connected a different subwoofer , everything worked fine straight away. Bit of a shame as it seemed like a good product at first, especially with the nice feature of having a remote volume knob.

Very impressed
Wasn’t expecting much punch but I was very wrong. Downgrading from a 1300w sun and amp due to space I can honestly say there’s no noticeable difference if set up correctly. Save loads of space and looks nice. Wiring included too. Absolute bargain.

Excellent Sub!
I have been using this now for almost a year, anyone saying this sub is underwhelming just have not configured it right as this thing can really rumble, the auto on feature is the reason i got this one due to not being able to access the necessary cables due to array of other devices the vehicle already has onboard but with the right amp and crossover this sounds incredible and I would highly recommend.

Cables missing.
The value for money very good. It's just when putting into a car, the cable that will supply power from the battery will be wrong as the fuse will be on closer to the sub where it should be closer to the battery for failure. Also not to mention they will say its supplied with all the cables in the box but will have crucial miss cables when trying to connect it.So adding to the price of the subwoofer. The subwoofer is very small for its power. In the future I won't use it company again as they aren't professional as they don't know what they are doing when supplying products and will cost you more in the long run if something fails.
