VO2 S 90 Womens Inline Skates

Awesome and fast skates. I purchased them as used, but they were new. The skates are light but somewhat weighted with the wheels and metal bindings. They are comfortable, and the pully for the laces works well.

The V02 are my 3rd pair of K2 skates. I have been sticking with K2 because the boot is way more comfortable than other brands. The last pair I had are from 2006 and they were a higher end model that I snagged on clearance for a fraction of the normal price. At the time, the 90mm wheel was on the new side, and reserved for training skates and marathon racers. Even though I'm not a great skater by far, I am a weekend warrior and I wanted to train for a marathon so that's what I got. I ended up skating a lot in those, but tore my ACL due to other sports I do and ended up taking a long time off from skating first to recover then to focus on the other sport. But I've missed skating and I'm ready to get out there more regularly again. Now in 2023, 90mm and larger are just standard wheel sizes. These V02 are the highest end of the K2 fitness/cross training model before you jump into the higher end racing skates. Many things are similar to my old pair aside from the wheel - the comfortable boots, the size overall, the styling, and the way the wheels are spaced are almost exactly the same. It felt like slipping on my old pair in a way, and my first skate was 6 miles with no blistering or pain in the foot whatsoever. The lacing system is awesome and makes it easy to tighten, and there's even a little pouch to store the excess lace securely. All my older skates were a pain in the butt to tighten the laces. The buckle system looks the same on this pair, but it its not. My old skates had a ratchet system to make buckle tightening super easy, with these you have to keep pushing the buckle in until you get it as tight as you can, which isn't nearly as easy as the ratchet was. The wheels on this skate are a little softer than my old ones, but if that's not your preference you can always purchase harder ones. I am looking forward to many adventures in these skates.

I've been through 7 different K2 skates through the years and probably like these ones the best. I bought them as an upgrade to my previous and to supplement my marathon training on cross train days. These skates are well cushioned, light weight, and great on many different terrains. The 90 mm wheel proved speed and a smooth ride without weighing down your feet too much. I was able to skate 26 miles in this pair comfortably. I rode them on sidewalks, roads, and in the city and found they were pretty easy to maneuver in. They are a bit fast so I wouldn't recommend them to a beginner but for a more advanced skater the VO2 90 Boas are great! I would recommend wearing socks that go past the skates and be sure to break them is because I got some painful blisters on the outsides of my ankles from not wearing appropriate socks the first time.

J’adore super confortable, s’ajuste super bien. Très rapide , conçu pour faire de la vitesse. je déconseille ce modèle au débutant.
