What a piece of trash AC Infinity sent me inside an envelope not a box. You can imagine what happens to a heavy piece of plastic inside an envelope looks like, it looks like broken glass.I CAN NOT RETURN BECAUSE IT COSTS AS MUCH IN GASOLINE TO TAKE TO UPS STORE AS THE ITEM COSTS.I EXPECTED MORE FROM AC INFINITY THAN TO SHIP DELICATE ITEMS INSIDE ENVELOPES.

This is very similar to other submersible pumps like the Freesea, almost exactly the same mechanism, size, and shape. However, the AC Infinity brand has great quality products and that applies to their pump and packaging. The pump is nicely finished and looks great. It pumps a lot of water very fast. Even without a piping, it can spray a 2 ft geyser like a regular garden hose with 50 PSI. I won't be using it in high pressure systems such as aeroponics, but it feels like this little pump can do well for a moderate size pressurized system. This can empty a gallon of water in about 5 seconds so it definitely has a ~800 GPH flow rate. The filter can be pulled off with some force to clean the rotor. The pump must be submersed to at least cover the filter inlet completely, or it draws in air and loses pressure. One thing I think could be improved is including a longer power cord. It is only a few feet long and it won't allow me to drop the pump down a 55 gallon barrel. It can only work in shallow reservoirs like plastic tote boxes. You would also likely need an extension cord regardless.Overall, I give it 5 stars for performance at a good price. If they made it with a 8 ft power cord it would be even better.
