Back from the Abyssal Lands, life is looking pretty good from where Thorn sits. Firmly established as the Stone King, Thorn has added the throne of Rakkam, the Labyrinth City, to his growing holdings. But not everyone is so satisfied with how the game is turning out. When a cursed staff leads Mina to disclose some of her tumultuous past, the team decides to head north. With a small team of some of the best players in the game, Thorn is off on a fast-paced adventure to solve a murderous mystery left untouched for two decades. Between an ancient Merfolk Sorcerer, the creeping threat of the corrupted dukes, and an army of evil Elemental Giants, Thorn and the team have their work cut out for them as they seek to discover the truth about the Witches of the Frozen North, and perhaps reveal the mystery of the Titans along the way. Nova Terra: Catalyst is the ninth book in the Titan Series, a GameLit/LitRPG epic adventure with a slice of friendship thrown in. Review: loved it! I love how well I feel I get to know each person, well character - I really feel like I know Thorn,Velin,Mina,Oberlin and Alph. Akira is just plain adorableโค๏ธ! Towards the end I really started to like Alph, as his personality progressed!! I took a break and read some other books, trying to make this series last ,but always ended up back reading Nova Terra!! I am so attached to the characters. I feel like they are my long time friends! I seriously dread finishing this series, while wanting to know what happens next, at the same time!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND READING THIS SERIES!! If you really like Mina, you will for real, love this book. Youโll continue to be surprised as you get to know her more and more! Review: Amazing!!!! - I only have one problem, I really donโt want this story line to end. I love the fact that more and more of the characters are getting involved in the storyline and plots. I am also glad that most questions and things started are answered. Please keep it up, it is a wonderful series!!! ๐

Fairly Entertaining Story Grind
Not quite top tier story like the first two books in the series. Because overall it shares the grind characteristics of most MMORPG games - lots of repetition and standardized fights. The author once again went for easy word count even in the main story arc rather than more unique creativity similar to "pen and paper" RPG experience. In my opinion it would probably have been better if shorter story to just summarize the outcome of battles and events that just repeat the same well established battle techniques (boring).

Great read
This was a great read and great plot. Every single book is a home run. Many times, you may think the mc is op, but it fits the narrative nicely.

Never disappointed
I have been following Seth since he started posting his story's online one chapter at a time. It has bee awesome to see him grow into the author that he is today. His books are captivating and are hard to put down. I love seeing the character development in Thorn, Mina, and Alph especially. It's cool to see how the team works to support each other's growth, what we should be doing in the real world!!! Who would know that my love for video games and dislike for reading in my teens would change to looking reading in my 30's. Thanks for another awesome book

Finally we get closure on the Titan quest line!
Man it was so nice to finally get the Titan quest line Thorn has been on for so long knocked out! As always our boy did some serious butt kicking, and got some progression during the book, but I almost feel like Mina stole the show this time! She gets some big upgrades during this book! One facet of this one I really enjoyed was some info regarding the nanites, and how Thorns in game activities are effecting how they interact with his body. We already knew there was some link there, but events in this book really showcase some interesting interactions and possibilities! Book 10 should be really interesting to see where things go next.

who were the Titans and where have they gone? Thorn still doesnโt know yet
I really enjoyed this book and series and the progression of Thorn/Xavier throughout the story. We watched him grow through the world and games of Nova Terra but he never has but a moments rest before a new challenge arises and he jumps again. We finally see things calm down somewhat and the team gets to pursue some of their own desires or to fix some of things holding them back. And of course Alph steaks the show as always, but Iโm waiting for him to have side effects like a whole bunch of colors or of one color as a result of potions. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ But blowing everything up in incredibly spicy ways works too!

Catalyst
I have much love for the Nova Terra series. This book was good but not the best by the author. I still appreciate it and loved the ending. Hoping the next comes with more of the character's personalities as the previous books.

Excellent addition!
A fun and exciting adventure that keeps one wondering what comes next. Lots of interesting twists and turns, well written with only a couple of small disappointments. Well done, looking forward to the next one!

Good read
Good, but not as good as previous ones for me. The middle of the book was a little inconsequential and long, and the ending too short. It's okay, the whole book was like a side quest(s) and in the end there are hints that the next one won't be like that. So, waiting for the next one.

never boring
This is the only series I am happy to restart from book 1 when I'm done with its latest release.

Fantastic series
Great series, great book. Really looking forward to the next instalment. Particularly liked the interactions between Mina and the other witches. Dying to see where that leads to.

Epicness Delivered
Each story by Seth in Nova Tera builds on the epicness of the world and Thorn in particular. This story nicely fills the gaps in Thorn team and finally what an ending. Can't wait for the next one.
