just the job
my fairly new microwave started arcing out after a bit of research i found out the offending item was the wave guide cover. found a few suppliers who sold sheet material to cut yourself, then found these on amazon at an amazing price. sceptical that they would fit as universal usually means they don't fit anything ordered & was amazed they were perfect fit & you got 6 of them.highly recommended.

A very effective cure for sparking microwaves
Received these today, popped one in to my De'Longhi Brillante 23L 900W microwave to replace the one that was sparking and hey presto, it's fixed. Cheap and simple. Take care though. My microwave is quite fiddly and the waveguard covers can easily bend and break. So you need to be patient and gentle. Buying a six pack gives you peace of mind in case you mess up the first few tries.

Works and fits as required
When these things go faulty due to food splashes it burns through making you think the microwave about to blow up. Changing it for a new one saves you having to buy a whole new microwave.

Life saver, and money saver!! We thought we were going to have to buy a new microwave bc it started sparking very badly. We really couldn’t afford it at this time due to financial issues. I was looking for the most economical one to get, but thought to look up the issue. Thank goodness I found an article about these formica plates causing sparking it they get dirty and damaged. These fit perfectly and I was able to just pop them into place in 5 seconds. Our microwave works like new!!

Perfect fit for my Breville microwave and literally a five minute fix. How many microwave ovens were discarded because people think that the sparking and smoking is the death knell for the appliance. Try this replacement first.
