Power Grip Primer

This is hands down my favourite primer. It creates a lovely base for my make up and really helps everything sit beautifully on my skin. I love the slightly grippy texture because my foundation seems to adhere so much better over it. The finished result looks smooth and flawless, and my make up stays looking good for longer. One of those products I genuinely notice the difference when I don’t use. A permanent part of my make up routine.

Lasts me a good few hours. Sticky but not too much, very good quality. Will be buying again

That slight tacky finish is intentional — it really does grip foundation and helps makeup stay put noticeably longer throughout the day. Goes on smooth, no pilling, and leaves skin with a nice dewy base rather than matte. Just a couple of things: a little goes a long way — too much and it can feel sticky. It's hydrating rather than oil-controlling, so if you're very oily you might want to pair it with a mattifying setting powder or spray. Also, give it 30 seconds to settle before applying foundation — works best when you press makeup on rather than rub it in. Great for the price, cruelty-free, and such a solid everyday staple. No wonder it's a bestseller! 💚

I really like this e.l.f. Power Grip Primer because it gives the skin that slightly tacky feel that helps makeup sit really nicely on top. I only use a small amount and let it sit for a few seconds before applying foundation. What I like most is that my makeup looks smoother and seems to stay in place better through the day. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin either, so for me it’s a really good everyday primer.

This has been my go to primer for over a year now as it's excellent as both a face primer and an eyeshadow primer. You only need 1.5 pumps to do your entire face, so it lasts a good while. The only downside is that once you've used it passed where the pump can reach, you can't really get the remaining product out.

I've been searching for a silicone free primer for sensitive skin and this is great. It's a little tackier and takes a little longer to dry but the finish, comfort and breathability is excellent. Only downsides are the tube is small and I seem to use more but far less concealer

Good product but not for me. Bought for the hydration. The size for the price is good. The product works well, almost too well. I found that any smudges or places I’d touched my face couldn’t be easily fixed. Normally I’d just smudge my existing make up around to cover up an area of concern, but it lifts all the make up off with this product, making it look even worse. I work away from home and I’m not in the practice of carrying a full make up bag around with me for touch ups. I also wasn’t too keen on the texture. Feels very sticky compared to other primers I’ve used.

This primer is great for keeping makeup on during a long day. It feels horrible though.
