Some are poured at a ratio of 1 to 1 while others are 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1. I personally use the 1 to 1 as it is easiest for me. I would start with a small batch so you can learn how to mix and use it. You can add mica powders, acrylic paints, or alcohol inks to the resin to color it. Once you have it stirred all the way you would then carefully fill the molds. It takes 24 hours for most resins to cure. There is also going to be air bubbles so you need a way to get those to come to the surface. You can use a heat gun, creme brulee torch, or spray it with some isopropyl or denatured alcohol. **Q: What are the dimensions of the checkers pieces? How thick/tall?
