This product really helped to solve a problem that I didn’t anticipate having in the first place! My husband was so sweet and surprised me with a brand-new iPad Air and the (crazy expensive!) accessories of the Apple Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Pencil Pro to go along with it. I was super stoked, right up until I realized that the magic keyboard case/keyboard for the iPad didn’t come with any sort of storage option to secure the Apple Pencil Pro to the iPad to make sure it doesn’t get knocked off and/or lost. We won’t get into the fact that for the combined price point of these items, that’s pretty crazy that Apple didn’t think about it during their product design, but instead, let’s focus on the awesome solution that this affordable little Spigen gizmo brings! First, here’s the specific products I’m using it with: - Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11" (M2) - White - Apple Pencil Pro - White - Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M2) 256GB - Purple What I liked: - Easy to attach the holder to my case, and to put the pencil in/out of the holder. And as long as you’re intentional about how you position it, the pencil will connect with the iPad and charge, while secured with the holder. - Both the holder and the pencil are secure once placed together with the case and iPad. I can shake the case around, turn upside down, toss in my purse, etc. and they remain attached as intended. - It’s a good color match between the Apple products’ white color and the white of the holder, making it feel like a seamless part of the case visually. Less than perfection elements: - To be clear, this is a great product and overall I have zero complaints!! As far as a few tiny areas for optimization I thought it was worth noting the minor imperfections for fair comparison. - The actual mechanism to attach this holder relies on a thin metal piece that is able to interact with the existing magnets within the apple case to hold it in place. This also means that the magnetic charging strip down the side of the Apple Pencil is attracted to the metal plate, which can cause a little extra effort to make sure the pencil is oriented to connect to the charging strip on the iPad, versus the metal piece on the holder. - The holder is very secure when the iPad and case are sandwiched on either side of it, but in the event that you take the iPad off of the case, the holder isn’t able to stay in place in its intended position due to the fact that the main magnets to hold things in place are just slightly right and left of its metal plate. So in order to keep the holder with the case without an iPad, you have to scoot it to the right or left of center, which means that the pencil won’t automatically be in the correct position to charge when you put the iPad back on, and you have to remember to reposition it. It’s not a big deal, just something to make note of.

Works perfectly. Light weight and doesn't make my iPad stick up from the magic keyboard case very much. I like the flexibility of the material as it allows for more room if the pencil has a cover. My pencil has a silicone cover and it still fits perfectly, charges perfectly, and easy to remove, especially with the built in slotted hole for your fingers to push the pencil. It seams to be durable enough for continued use and minor bumps or falls, time will tell. Great price, no more dropping pencil or worrying about dropping it.

It came without stickers to keep the holder - I guess it is meant to slide around and relocate it where you’d fit. I bought it for PencilPro for ipad pro M5 13” and fits well above the camera where the pen charging is. The pen stays inside the holder well when the magic keyboard is closed. HOWEVER, when I removed the ipad off the keyboard, the holder slides off the ipad AND the keyboard…klunk. (I am in a very busy clinic and this is a hassle to fiddle). I tried locating the holder to the side where the magnet is stronger on the keyboard and it stays (BUT the pen won’t charge there!). I still have to test to see if the pen holder can keep the pen within the iPad inside my backpack.

I am so glad I decided to order this. It makes me feel so much better about traveling with my iPad. The pencil is snug and I never need to worry I’ll lose it. It works just as it should. As long as I’m careful to put the pencil in charging side down, it charged just fine. It’s great.

The Samsung OEM keyboard case doesn’t include a pen holder, and as you know, if there’s no dedicated slot, you will eventually lose the pen or drop it and damage it. This holder fixes that problem perfectly. The back panel is thin enough to slide cleanly between the tablet and the case without adding bulk, and the pen holder itself is slightly longer than a Samsung pen — which actually makes it easier to grab the pen quickly. The fit feels secure, the design is practical, and overall it improves the usability of the tablet setup. I really love this item and hope it lasts a long time.

It is just ok, I am only keeping it because there are not many other options. It holds the pencil fine, just barely if you have it in a sleeve. But it really is just an overpriced piece of plastic with a magnet. And once you take the iPad off the keyboard, this piece of plastic falls right off. I thought of returning it so many times, but there really isn’t anything else out there that looks any better.

Works great for securing Apple Pencil. I would recommend this item to anyone using an Apple Pencil with an Apple Magic Keyboard.

Well made sturdy and once positioned holds the stylus really firmly - some complain it’s difficult to get stylus out - the whole point is to keep it snug - I’ve lost 2 stylus already - so a gentle push to get it out I’ll take any day!!! It’s very slim and fits behind iPad in between the magnetic keypad - I used a small 1 inch long piece of double sided tape to keep it attached to the keypad flip folder - it won’t stay there by itself - it’s only very slightly magnetic so doesn’t attach firmly to the apple magnetic keypad flip folder. So when you pull the iPad off the flip folder the stylus holder falls off. The tape holds it perfectly and keeps it aligned so when you put the stylus back into the holder, it aligns with the magnetic charging connection perfectly every time, which is a bonus

I’m not going to lie, I did a little wee after pressing the buy it button on this one. I mean, £27 for a small piece of plastic with a bit of metal hiding within. Shocked Amazon customer naked pose. Come on. I’m not going to knock a star off for the cheek for asking that much for something so, erm, simple. Truth is, this is a little bit of plastic perfection in the world of Apple Pencil 2 holders. It fits great, it’s solid in place, it looks like it’s an Apple accessory for the Magic Keyboard (disclaimer, I’ve got the 12.9” version of the keyboard case) and it holds that damn pencil in place perfectly. Yet it’s easy to remove the pencil with a fingertip. And easy to remove holder for that matter as it literally just slips in between the case and the iPad. Don’t worry, it’s wearing pants. Well, it has a non-scratch surface to protect the back of your expensive tablet. I hate myself for saying this, but I highly recommend it despite, and I may have mentioned this already, it being so expensive.

Personally I am very happy with my purchase. It holds both my Apple Pencil (USB C and Pro) very well with my iPad Pro 11. Unfortunately, you cannot have any silicone case on your Pencil. Not a deal breaker for me as I have always loved the original look of the Pencil. The only reason I have a silicone case was to prevent damage when I drop the Pencil. Which in this case it does not fall off too easily. Does equally well with my Magic Keyboard and original iPad Folio case
