not a good fit if you are looking for a true center ...
not a good fit if you are looking for a true center channel speaker. Very tinny sounding with a good Denon receiver.

Underappreciated
I feel like these speakers are misunderstood. Sure, there's a few issues with it, but they also do a lot of things right. First we have to explore what these things are designed for. 1. They are most definitely intended for use with a subwoofer by their obvious drop off at 80hz. 2. Because of a drop off at 80hz, it also seems that these are really built as movie & TV speakers rather than music. Its not a perfect speaker, but its clear, if lacking some resolution that's found in higher end speakers, and they are exciting. But you have to realize you can build a sub $500 system with these...you can't expect a perfect listening experience with these...but you can expect an exciting, fun, dynamic experience for relatively cheap. These are worth their price for sure, with the one strange issue. The whole 4ohm thing. A lot of people complained about this...but you'd be surprised how many avr's can handle it. I think they are the perfect setup for a condo or apartment sized living room! Take a chance while they still have them!
