Can this be used for soda?

I haven't personally used it for soda, but as far as I can tell it should be able to chill any liquid

It says 8oz, but mentions larger brews. Whats the max volume it can hold/chill at one time? does it stay cool enough to do 2 brews back to back?

The 8oz references the average brew size, but it can hold up to 12.5 oz at once. Also it is still effective twice in a row - the second cycle just takes about 2 minutes.

How long should the HyperChiller stay in the freezer before use?

I just leave it in overnight. Not sure exactly how long... however long it needs for water to freeze in your freezer, I'd imagine.
