Awesome little SSD, bought this to backup and transfer all my older music from a 2012 Mac. 300GB took about 30 mins to copy across, based on the older machine’s limitations, and it did it very well, with no errors or crashes. It’s a compact ruggedised solid state drive which comes with two high quality USB leads that also match the build quality of the thing itself. It seems to be pretty much real time/low latency when DJ software accesses the music stored on it, and I would deffo recommend this product. Good price too.

This 2TB external hard drive is small and compact, making it a great option for those who need a lot of storage but don't have much space. The read and write performance is impressive, with average speeds of 869 MB/s for writes and 881.40 MB/s for reads when connected via USB-C. These speeds are much faster than my previous external hard drive, which uses older 2.5 hard disk technology. While I haven't checked the exact speeds, I'm happy as long as the drive is able to quickly transfer my backup files from my MacBook and has enough space for them. I bought this SSD to improve the usability of my Photos Library on my MacBook M1, and it works well with Apple M1 and M2 products. While it's too early to tell how reliable the drive will be, I'm confident in its quality since it's a Samsung product. Samsung drive has won numerious yearly awards for performance, price and size. One potential downside is that the drive doesn't come with any protective cover or case, so you might want to consider buying a travel case if you plan to take it on the go. Additionally, the software that Samsung provides with the drive isn't very useful and isn't supported on Macs, although it does work well on Windows. Overall, this is a great external hard drive and I believe it's worth the price I paid (just over £142 on Amazon during a promotion).

I bought this SSD during a prime day event so it represented amazing value for 4TB of SSD storage from a reputable brand. Like other Samsung T5/T7 drives it is impressive how small and slim these devices are. Using it with an Apple iMac M1 and USB-C, I get around 800MBs write speeds and 760MBs read speeds using a high speed USB-C cable and with the drive encrypted under APFS. Whilst that doesn't compare to the built-in SSD of the Apple computer, it's definitely an improvement over an external mechanical harddrive and of course completely silent. Very impressive for the price! The drive comes with a rather short high speed USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-3 (A) to USB-C cable. You can of course use it on a PC, Mac, and it even works on my iPad and iPhone with USB-C.

The samsung T7 shield was a very good purchase, I use it with a mac that had only 256gb so now I don't have to worry about storage anymore and the transfer speeds are really fast. The rubber coating on the ssd feels very nice and is very portable. This is highly recommended if your lacking storage.

I have several of these harddrives and I won't ever convert to another. These are fast and hold a lot of volume. Seller shipped it quickly. Would recommend

After going to many geek stores IE: BestBuy, Future Shop, Microsoft. You know, lil Mom&Pop type stores, Asking them to please help me pick a good SSD portable drive. Each and every one of them, gave a small enough drive to be solid state and they all pointed to the box where it said solid state. I would bring them home and plug into a usb,I would instially hear those platters start to spin. The whole reason I wanted a solid state drive is with no actual moving parts is it can handle a lil bump without destroying your drive and your data. I won't put any more effort discussing That. But, buy electronic here on Amazon, you'll be so much happier, even if you need to wait a lil longer. As for this external drive, you get exactly what it says in the description on amazon and on the box. Now I'm not worried if it get a lil wet or if I drop on the beach in the sand, simply wipe it up and dust it off and is good to go. UNTIL YOU TRY TO PUT FILES ON THE DRIVE, AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GET 1GIG OF INFO ON THEM. THAT BECAUSE WHAT IS ACTUALLY INSIDE THE DRIVE, IS ONLY A SMALL SD CARD THAT ONLY HAS A SMALL FILE THAT TELLS WHEREVER ITS PLUGGED IN, THAT IT HAS WHATEVER TB YOU WANTED. PERSONALLY IF IT HAS A CHEAT FILE LIKE THAT. IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING ELS LIKE A VIRUS. IF IT FEELS REALLY LIGHT, GET IT OPENED UP AND SEE WHAT'S IN THERE BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN YOUR MACHINE
