If your M.2 SSD drive is new, please make a partition before using it. If your M.2 SSD drive is old and it doesn't work, please back up the data first, and then make a partition for a try.

How to distinguish NVMe from NGFF SSD?

1. NVMe with "NVMe express" or "NVMe M.2" symbol, NGFF with "ATA" or "SATA M.2". 2. The speed of NVMe is more than 800MB/s, NGFF less than 550MB/s. If still unable to confirm it, pls check it with the people of your SSD first before purchasing.
