Is this good for garage door rollers??

The white grease is for the garage door tracks. Use bicycle chain oil for the bearings inside the wheels.

Will this work for a heavy slide gate chain?

I would use it . Most of my uses are for applications like that . It is a great lubricant !

Definitely has an odor and it swells my sinuses up as I am allergic to whatever they have done to this; never had this issue with white lithium grease.
