Would it be possible to add caster wheels to the bottom to make it easily moveable? Wanting to use as a winter coat/hat/boot rack for the class

I don't believe so. The bottom of it is very thin. I love this piece, definitely worth the money, but to put wheels on the bottom, I would say no. Lisa : )
