No unfortunately, only one controller can be connected to an adapter at any time.

Does an xbox series x controller work with a ps5 console if i use this? the game would also be ps5

I tried it on my mates PS5 with no success. So that is a no on that question only PS4 & Xbox.

Hello. It's not a blue tooth device it's just a connection to use other controller's on a PS4. Example my son has a Xbox controller so uses it for that.

Will this let me use a ps5 controller on a ps4?

I would say yes, once you insert the adapter into the PS4 the led should be blue, then you just follow the pairing process to pair your PS5 controller to the adapter
