Let there be light
I was trying to find a way to have light in our new shed, without the need of bringing in Big Brother and the need for permits. I also wanted something safe, with less risk of a fire. My shed's dimensions are 16 (length) x12 (width) and about 16 ft tall with double lofts. I was first looking at various solar floodlights (the type that has a separate solar panel for the light) at the recommendation of a co-worker. When I was looking at the floodlights, I fumbled across different items and came across this item and other similar items. Why I chose this item instead of another item I was looking at, was the reviewed battery life compared to the brighter light. The other item I was looking at claimed to be brighter but the battery life was short. The reviews I read about this item showed that the battery life could for last hours compared to the 20-minute battery life of the other one. So I decided to give it a try and my reasoning to myself, not knowing how bright this might or might not be, would be some light is better than no light. So I ordered the item and when I got delivery of the item, the solar panel was a little smaller than what I had expected; but I am not too sure what to expect. Simple and easy instructions. Install the solar panel, run the cables, connect the lights, and poof you got working lights. When I first installed the lights, there was a charge on the batteries in the lights already so I could see some of the brightness but was not sure how bright they were truly going to be on a full charge. So after the full next day of sunlight, I waited to let it get dark and took pictures of the lights and the brightness of them and let you decide for yourself if it is bright enough for your needs or not. What I like: easy installation, the brightness of the lights appear to be bright enough for what I need, price was good, (I have no experience with solar panels to be able to judge) but the solar panel seems to be decent, came with lock washers for the solar panel (I was going to buy some to prevent the screws holding the solar panel from loosening but the kit had them already). What I don't like: cheap screws for the remote control wall holder (one of the screw's heads broke after screwing it into a 2x4). I just installed it a couple of days ago, so I don't have any real experience with the lights to have to say much of anything else than my initial thoughts on it. I know many users felt the length of wire provided was great or what they needed, but with the size of my shed I could have used some longer wire. I was going to suggest that the company get extension cords for this setup but I did some searching on the manufacturer's Amazon Store page, and they do have a 16.5 ft extension cable for this item (currently unavailable though). But what I can suggest would be to have a motion sensor option for these lights. I would have liked to be able to open the shed's door(s) and the lights turn on automatically (when it is dark outside). I know they have an option of dusk to dawn, but I do not need lights turned on in my shed if I am not in it. So as of now, I think this should work for what I need. I have lights so I can see in my shed after it gets dark, and I did not have to pay for permits and invite Big Brother.

Provides bright light with an easy installation.
Easy to install both the light and the solar panel. And easy to use with the remote. We have a 20' by 30' utility shed that needed a light to let us move things in and out after dark. This light is perfect for the space and provides much more light than expected. The remote acts as a simple on/off switch as well as a timer that turns the light off automatically. It also lets you set the brightness level. Check out the video. I contacted Malitupy to see if I could get a second bracket for the remote so I could store it at either door. Their customer service and follow up (via Jenny) was amazing. We are very happy with both the product and the service.

Update. the seller is really responsive. problems are being corrected
I purchased 2 of these in February to replace some solar lights that stopped working after 10 yrs of everyday use. loved those lights These have already stopped being reliable, the housing for the panels filled with water in the first rain. the light itself filled with water (wall mounted) , and it doesn't drain. The remote control has stopped working reliably, occasionally a button will work if you wriggle it just right.. Update. , still1 star for the product I received. but 3 stars for the seller The seller maltiupy has been very responsive, and are sending a replacement light, also they seemed very genuine about improving the product, asking for details and pics of the problems Hopefully the new light will be better. I also found out the remotes on these are universal, so one remote will operate any light, solves the glitchy remote problem

Exactly what I needed.
I bought this light to illuminate the inside of a small shed. The brightness of the light was perfect. The solar panel was easy to install and has worked flawlessly to keep the battery charged and the light lit. The cable from the solar panel to the light was very generous in length. Very pleased.

Fantastic light, it gives off a very good amount of light and the battery lasts very well too, it's we'll made both solor panel and light, I'm looking soon to purchase a second one because It's such a good light, and so pleased with it. Would Highly recommend easy 5star. Update: I after purchasing a second light I found that there was a Fault on the Second light, It had gone past the 3 month period with Amazon refunds, but when you get the light It comes with contact details if you experience a problem, so I contacted them and they were brilliant to deal with very helpful. They asked me to check a couple of things, then they sorted out a replacement light for me. The after care is faultless. So 5 Star for light and 5Star for after care service. Thanks for being so great 😃👍.

I was going to give this a five as it seemed to be perfect. We didn’t want a very bright light because this was for our sauna, so the dimmer was a plus, but it MELTED the first time we used it Quite the disappointment, but it still works. Maybe I can rig a new housing😆

Worked brilliantly to extend light past sunset for just a bit to keep the layers producing eggs in their off grid summer coop. Other products could not add 2 hours to dusk, so this versatility was the deal maker. More than enough light.
