Car Seat Tray Table - Foldable Car Kids Passenger Roadtrip Eating Food Backseat Travel Trays Dinning Working Laptop Desk with Non-Slip Pad/Phone/Tablet Holder

I'm in college, but need to travel on occasion. I like that my wife can drive and I can work from the back seat (I couldn't find anything that would work from the front seat). Seems sturdy enough for me to compete exams and type long papers. My Microsoft ProX with keyboard for well with enough room to set my Samsung Galaxy Ultra next to it. The "cup holders" are useless for an adult and I would imagine difficult for children, so I don't use them. Installation was easy and it folds away nicely when not in use. Please note that if you keep it folded up the tray cover will sag and could mishape in a hot car. I usually leave mine down unless I need it out of the way. But the tray cover does remove easily for cleaning. I suppose it could be glued in place but then it would be difficult to clean.

We have a Ford F150 crew cab, shopping & road trips were difficult because we often had to eat on the run and there is no easy way to eat in car seats. These trays made all the difference for eating & playing while in the car. I do not care for the drink holders on the tray, they don’t really work for most drinks. The tray works fantastic though. We use it while driving as well as parked. iPads sit on tray with room for food too. Installation took about 15-20 minutes. Once installed they have not needed adjustment yet. You do not notice or feel the device on the headrest. The unit folds flat when not in use and we have not had them come out of the holder while driving over rocky terrain. We have used these for about a month now. They were worth the investment & we will buy them again. This turned the backseat into a kid friendly environment for anything from road trips to Costco trips. They are not hard to clean, hold quite a bit of items & so far are durable. I will update if there are any issues.

Now this is a product to have if you are a mobile office person. Stop in a quick hurry checking an email doing some editing when the client needs it and you're not at the office is great in LA traffic or waiting on the congestion to subside, this will get you through a deadline when needed. I wish it had a slide out for mouse.

This is a well made product. HOWEVER, this is not suitable for kids who are in booster seats. The tray needs to be low enough for it to fold over and hook on the top to stay "closed". This wouldn't be a problem except that the hinges and locks are hard to operate. You need an adult to press the release buttons and move the tray up and down. This could be really dangerous in an emergency if your kid is not able to fold this over quickly and escape (it's hard for a 9 yr old). I wouldn't recommend it if your kid is in a car seat. It would be perfect if no car seat is required.

I was nervous buying these that much kids would break them pretty quickly. That hasn’t happened! My kids are wild and these trays do take a beating and keep on going. Nothing has broken yet and it’s been several months! I am going to get some for my sisters kids soon too. It’s amazing having a stable tray that holds breakfast, drinks, gaming system and phone. Keeps my kids stuff where it should be, keeps my car clean, and is very durable and easy to install.

Didn't fit. Hard to adjust doesn't leave leg room

Loved the idea of these for my kids on a road trip. Bought some to try it out and here’s what I found: 1. Super easy to assemble, this part took me about a minute per desk. 2. These fit to the head rest of the front seats (driver/passenger), but do not fit to the head rests in the 2nd row so they would not function for our 3rd row passengers. 3. Once fitted the front row headrest, it really depended on who was sitting in that seat as to where the desk would fall for the person using it. My husband is 6’4”, so tends to have his seat as far back as it goes. This put the desk right in the child’s lap with very little room between child and desk. On the other hand, I sit further forward so the desk was significantly further from the child which made it harder to reach certain things, or left a significant gap between the front seat and desk where things would then fall off. Overall, great concept, however I think the product could be better.

**Edit: I have been using this for a week now and I absolutely love it. Please see my attached picture and use the bungee cord to help support the weight. It will make all the difference. I feel like this tray is getting undeserved poor ratings. It is a good quality product, perfect for a car office or whatever. It is height adjustable and telescopic. It even has an anti-slip mat to keep your stuff in place. My only issue was when the tray is folded it hangs, which puts excess weight on the hooks, but I resolved that issue by securing the tray with bungee cord (see picture). Keeps it nice and secure.

This is perfect for road trips...plus it is a mess preventative...snacks in the back are no longer on the floor of the vehicle and our back seats are clean...

Fits well on seat, serves its purpose. But don't think its a fixed, sturdy table, it's an add on only. The only negative so far, its Bottle holder is too small for most bottles or cups.
