Perfect tool.
Amazing in every way. Had 3 trunks over 115 years old to repurpose and it removes the rivets and plugs with ease. No damage, no tearing of the inner fabric, just an amazing tool.

Work great for pulling automotive retaining clips; handle dip not durable.
I use these professionally. I got them specifically to remove plastic automotive retaining clips. The shape of the head allows you a pivot point for leveraging the clip out once you’ve got the blades under the head. If you’re not cautious they are sharp enough to cut thru a plastic clip, so mind that. The protective/comfort rubber dip on the handles is not durable at all. After a couple of months’ use, it tore thru and is ragged now. The finish marks & seams on the handles under the rubber are very rough and likely led to this. 5 stars if the rubber coating was more durable; 4 stars as is because they’re useful.

Perfect to remove rivets
I bought this specifically to remove little metal rivets on leather handbags, want to change out straps and make some modifications. It works perfectly for this! I’m not really sure what else would work as well.

Very good tool at a very good value
I purchased this to remove body panel clips. These pliers get the job done effortlessly. This has become my go-to clip remover. It also doubles as a flush cutter... although not very well. I also had to file down the edges of the pliers because they were a bit sharp. Not too much of a problem, just maybe 1min to finish them. I'd gladly take that over spending full price on the name brands. This seems like it's gonna last quite some time, they're easy to operate and very useful. I bought two of these, one for work and one for home.

Horrible for cutting but amazing for pulling clips.
I use these as clip pullers they are great for that but as far as cutting goes I ruined the cutting edge on the first little wire I tried to cut. Not sure what this thing is supposed to cut maybe just very small guage copper or aluminum definitely not mechanics wire or little nails though. The thin blades are great for getting under clips and the angle helps you pull them easier than any clip puller ive used.

Decent speciality pliers when used for designed use.
I was pleasantly surprised by these pliers. I wanted a pair of these for removing the center pins on the plastic expansion rivets that are common on all cars these days. I have had good success using them for their designed use, but have to say to be effective for pulling clips and pins the jaws are very thin. I think it's important to say the are not side cutters and should not be used for cutting anything. They are meant for pulling plastic pins and clips, that's it. I think it's time for people to stop complaining about "it's made in China" as a general complaint about tools. Yes, for sure allot of Chinese made tools are junk, but some of them are decent tools for what you pay and will last if used properly. I have been a car mechanic for over 40 years and have my share of extreme high end tools made in the U.S. and Europe and I love them. But on tools such as these you have to question how much you are paying and what you are receiving. Don't use these as side cutters on wire and they will give you some long service.
