National Geographic Stargazer's Atlas: The Ultimate Guide to the Night Sky

Book arrived safetly in strong box, I have many books about space + astronomy, have been an amateur Astronomer since living in Africa in the 1960s, this book is large, heavy and full of beautiful images. I thougherly enjoyed leafing through it's multiple pages adorned with magnificent pictures, the text is written well and explains in detail a lot of useful information. The book allowed me to feel the awe I love to feel standing under the canopy of the heavens and on cloudy nights will leaf through the pages of this book to feel that Awe again and again. Well done National Geographic this book is awesome,and will grace my Library for many years to come.

Good Xmas present or for anyone who’s interested in astronomy. Sturdy and reasonably prised

Quite a large size book, however very well produced and gives a good historical and current review of astronomy.

Bought as a present. Good quality and lots of clear diagrams and information.

The content of the book was good, but the book itself seems not to be brand new, and there are a lot of scratches and dirty parts. Perhaps it was on display in some book shop, and was then sold as brand new. As shown in the photos.

Received in a scratched up, peeling/delaminating condition. Not the book’s fault. It’s an impressive book. It was poorly packaged in a large box with nothing to keep it from banging around.

The book is great! It's big and has a lot of pictures and information to learn about. It has maps of Venus and Mars and other planets and moons, and star maps for both the northern and southern hemispheres. I recommend this book to anyone who loves learning about the Stars
