Great portable and still going!
Had this for a while now. The A button rubber part inside is wearing out but I just flipped it as I cannot find the part to get new ones. The battery is still going strong and connections are fine. Power b always works as a standard USB device. Power A always needed the pivot app which is dead now unless you still have it or know where to find a working link. Comfortable and snappy. I find the D pad to be terrible as really square and rigid corners and literally no roll to it. You can mod it but I havn't bothered. I didn't use it for like a year and when I did, it still had full battery. I think I charge it like 2 times a month if I am using it a lot. It is picked up on SteamLink Anywhere too so PC gaming on your Phone/tablet!!! Worth the buy for longevity and the fact you can change the type of buttons if you spend time looking for them.

Nexus 6P Nougat Android 7.0 compatible
I have only had about 20 min to mess with the controller but I wanted to share some compatibility stuff. I was able to sync with a Nexus 6P on 7.0 in both A and B mode with no problems. I paired them both with the phone's Bluetooth settings. When I opened the app it completed the A mode setup and seemed happy. I haven't tested it with an A mode game yet but I was able to navigate the menu. B mode works great with RetroArch, that's what I really wanted it for. I have not tried more complicated button mapping yet though. I was expecting the clamp to mess with the awkward button placement on the 6P but it doesn't. I have it in the official case (with the fuzzy back) with the buttons up and that seems to work fine. The clamp extends plenty. Even a very big case wouldn't be a problem. I'm relieved I don't have to rig something. So far build quality looks great. It's a nice weight, inputs seem good quality. Feels a lot like a 360 controller. I'll update if anything sours my opinion but things are looking good!

Excellent controller, not compatible with the Nexus 6P
Honestly I didn't expect to much, but I have to say that this really is a quality controller, comparable to Sony Playstation and Xbox 360. My Z1 is held securely in place and works fine, even though the power button is in the wrong place for this sort of grip. The charging function is able to keep the phone charged while playing, but doesn't provide enough current to actually charge it up, not while playing a game anyway. But a level charge is fine I suppose. All in all I'm really happy with this setup, serious gaming is definitely a possibility on Android. Update: Sadly the controller is not compatible with newer phones such as the Nexus 6P. I'm much less enthusiastic about the product now.

Fantastic controller, charging feature is somewhat lacking though.
Brilliant. Just brilliant. The perfect form factor for a mobile gaming device. I was looking at purchasing a Sony PSP/Vita or Nintendo DS* device when a friend mentioned buying a bluetooth gaming controller for the phone and using emulators to play my insanely large collection of pokemon games. Have to say it works a treat. My phone (an LG G4) with its curved back does have some issues fitting in initially but with a practiced hand i'm easily able to insert it securely. The moga power feature is somewhat lacking I think, it will only supply 500mA of current which is not sufficient for powering any of the modern smart phones on the market which means that instead of charging the device it simply helps lengthen the amount of time you can game on it, the battery will still decrease over time but it will be considerably slower. Using the controller for just gaming I've gone an entire day with lengthy sessions of play without it complaining and i'm pretty sure I charged it that evening out of the fact that I was just going to bed rather than it needing to be charged up. The buttons are just like that of my XBOX360 the dpad and analogue sticks are a bit more plastic and less feel but still more than comfortable and fit well with the unit as a whole the triggers are sharp and precise when used in first person shooters such as modern combat, an entire genre of gaming I'd avoided on the android platform as I didn't see how I could possibly play using on-screen controls. Honestly a £35 purchase just replaced and gave me more functionality than my proposed ££££ purchase of multiple mobile gaming devices. Highly recommend. Loses one star due to power feature just not being worth it.

Poor value for money, it will probably break
Poor quality for the price. I've had the controller since January and like others, the left stick has basically become unusable after less than a year of light use. When it works, it's a great controller and the actual build is nice. It has a nice weight to it and the triggers / thumbsticks have a decent resistance to them. I use Xbox controllers for console and PC games, and felt right at home with the Moga. However, after a few months I noticed the left stick going a bit weird. It was subtle at first, playing an FPS felt a bit off. After a while it got much more pronounced. An example of this is playing Quake on the Gear VR. You use the thumbstick to walk forward / backwards and strafe left and right. If I hold the thumbstick up to move forward, I'll move forward a couple of steps, then stop, then go again, then stop. It's now impossible to play any game that requires the left thumbstick as the input is not recognised half the time, making movement very janky. Overall, I'm really unhappy with the purchase. Moga support is a joke too - they claim that using the controller on a PC or with an emulator voids the warranty. I give the product 2 stars because when it works, it's a very good controller. However, for the high price, it's impossible to recommend. Reviewed after using it with a Galaxy 6 Edge+

Got this so I could play controller required games for the Samsung Gear VR with my Note 5. This controller is fantastic! Exactly what I was looking for and more!!! I am a big fan of the xbox 360 controller design so this was very easy and familiar when trying for the first time. It felt very natural to use. The sliding function for phone holder is very sturdy. It keeps my large Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in place with no trouble at all. It's great because you can play emulators with it! It's great having all your favorite classics with you whenever you need them on road trips, etc. Also, when you are using it there is a phone charging option. The controller itself is a rechargeable battery that you can use to power your phone while you play games! Or even as a battery pack to charge your phone if it is low in emergencies. This is such an awesome feature, I love this controller. It has all the buttons you expect, triggers, bumpers, ABXY, D-Pad, and two thumb sticks. It's like having a console controller for your phone! It works perfectly with the Samsung Gear VR. Make sure when setting it up for this use to use the "B" mode setting slider the bottom of the controller. This turns it into the general HID mode so you can use it with a variety of devices. The buttons work well and everything feels of very high quality. Considering everything you get with for the price it is a bargain. I love everything about this controller. Pros: Quality, battery charging, holds phone well, sturdy, all the buttons you need, works with gear VR, works with emulators Cons: Nothing
