With 60+ years of adult cycling experience using mirrors, this one is the best
This is the best rear view mirror for cycling I have ever used. I have been an avid cyclist since the mid 1960s and have used mirrors mounted on eye glasses, helmets, bar-end type, and handlebars. So why is this one better than any other? It offers a clear view to the rear of course, it stays put - meaning it doesn't go out of adjustment - and it was easy to install. We now have them on three bikes. Finally, it is very fairly priced.

No Regrets, As Advertised
I did not get the anti-glare one. One other reviewer said it darkens the reflection. So for late day riding, maybe not the best option. It's attached to my left handlebar (exactly as designed) and the band that attaches to the bar is a little over 1/2 inch wide. Some people may not have a lot of space available. Mine (an Electra Townie) was limited but there's just enough space. The fact that the mirror itself is adjustable in all directions and can be pushed back out of the way for storage is great if space where you store is a problem. Yes, you'll occasionally (not every ride unless you hit a lot of bumps) need to use your metric Allen wrench to tighten the fitting because reason dictates it will eventually loosen, over time. No biggie, as long as you don't over-tighten it (always a possibility if you get carried away.) The placement is just outside of my hand and arm and easily seen from my seated position. I used to ride motorcycles so this (IMO) is far better than a mirror attached to your glasses or helmet. The design is such that it doesn't catch a lot of wind and doesn't "jump out at you." The wide-angle is great. I personally like the design, (more modern) and the material appears to be quality, yet sufficiently light in weight. This attaches relatively quickly (there are video's online) and, once in place, unlike where the mirror is adjusted, it should stay put. I've not had to retighten that piece. Reasonably priced.

Works fine with dropped handlebars
This is a good rear-view mirror. Solid mounting; ball joint adjustment holds well but can still be fiddled by hand. I give four stars rather than five because a flat mirror would be better than the slight curve: Approaching cars appear more distant than they are, and I've found it hard to adapt. It's also a bit small; you need to get it aimed just right. The mirror is designed for flat handlebars, but works fine mounted on the drop just below the brake lever. This gives a better view than a mirror mounted at the low end of a dropped handlebar. You'll like this position if you ride mostly on the drops. If you ride with your hands on the hoods over the brake levers, you'll find that the mirror interferes noticeably.

Excellent ebike mirror at very reasonable price
I replaced the bar end mirrors on my Lectric XPress ebike with this Hafny handlebar mounted mirror. I can see traffic coming from behind me much better now. The Hafny mirror is well constructed and sturdy. The bar end mirros kept getting knocked out of position easily but the Hafny mirror does not have this problem. I can now move my ebike out of the garage between the vehicles much easier too. The Hafny mirror is well worth the money and it looks great on my XPress ebike too. It installed easily and the mirror is very clear. I highly recommend the Hafny mirror.

Three big advantages over many other mirrors
Superb product with 3 big advantages over many other mirrors: - big field of view - adjusting the mirror does not gradually loosen or wear down any screws - you can fold the mirror away so that doesn't get jammed when you are putting your bike into a locker or any other tight space

Perfect, Simple, and Reliable Bike Mirror
I’ve been using the Hefni Handle Brake Bike Mirror since COVID, and it’s been excellent. Installation was simple, and it’s easy to adjust to your preferred angle. The mirror works exactly as intended and has been a reliable addition to my bike. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a straightforward, effective bike mirror.

Disappointing, with a very narrow field of view.
I bought this mirror specifically because I didn't want to install a bar end mirror and cut into the expensive replacement grips on my Trek Marlin. The aluminum bracket and mouthing hardware is nice enough, and mounts up quickly. The black finish is nice. But the real letdown in the mirror. When I first saw it online, I though it was cool, but the funky shape leaves you with a narrow field of view that is ALMOST worthless. It's small. Look at the dimensions listed, and you'll notice that the 5.5" length is the length of the housing, not the mirror surface. And the 2.45" listed height is the mirror at its tallest point (the rest of the mirror is smaller than that). Coupled with the low rise bracket, the mirror lets you view a VERY small slice of the road to your right or left - hardly confidence inspiring. I adjusted it a hundred different ways. I tried flipping it around and mounting it upside down (underneath the handlebar) and that was even worse. Yeah, it looks good in the pics, but for me, it was a total letdown. If you have the option, buy a standard bar end mirror with a 3" round face, and leave this wonky looking thing to riders who don't actually need to see much behind them. Not worth the price, especially since a Mirrycle bar end is at least $10 less and WAY more functional. Guess I'll be cutting into my grips after all. UPDATE: So I've ridden with this mirror a few times both on and off road, and I stand by my original review. The mounting bracket is cool and the funky shape might work for some, but it's not a great mirror mainly because of the field of view. In my opinion it's too narrow for street use.

This is a great little mirror. It was super easy to install and remains secured in place when tightened appropriately using the included Allen key. The mirror itself is easy to move around to get the perfect rear view for you, but it doesn't droop or turn on its own. The mirror is large and clear enough to see any vehicles approaching from behind at a glance. As recommended, attach the mirror as close to the hand grip as possible for maximum visibility. I can't think of any way this mirror could be any better. It was a good purchase.

Delivered as expected, clear instructions and fixed it to my electric bicycle in no time without hubby being involved! Used the next day on the road it does reduce the stress and anxiety of having to turn around. I would certainly recommend and the quality and size seemed ideal and used on a folding bike no problem.
