Swimming Training Belt - 4M Tether for Swim in Place, Stationary Harness, Aquatic Resistance Belt

This belt is genius! Works great, hooked up to the top of my fence and I was off. It is difficult to breathe since the belt is around your waist, feels like it’s pulling you down at times, but all in all it makes for a good workout.

I used this in my above ground pool to get ‘laps’ in instead of commuting to the local gym and hoping a lane was open. It worked perfectly and it’s steady/well made. The only suggestion I have is to make sure you have a leg buoy otherwise it pulls you down. It’s a great workout and easy to use if you travel and have a pool in your hotel.just need an anchor point. Great product!

I was looking at those expensive drop in swim jet machines, but decided to try this first. So glad i did! Saved thousands of dollars and still get a great workout! The only thing I had to buy extra was a longer tether to reach the area of pool I needed. Just purchased a 10’ tether and adjusted as needed. This is about 11’ long and does stretch under use which provides a great resistance workout. 10/10!

I gave 4/5 ONLY because if your not already a fairly decent semi-strong swimmer, people may get easily frustrated keeping their body upright while doing the freestyle stroke while swimming in place. The product, itself, it is GREAT quality and has long bungee straps but just keep what I mentioned in mind, also. I recommend switching onto your back and doing the backstroke while wearing these if you struggle. I swam most all my life competitively so I may know a thing or two by now. 😅 Don't worry about ankle cuffs causing chafing/hurting your ankles like I did prior to purchase-Did not experience any of that! Felt soft and secure for padding. Hope this helps. Also, plus size folks these will fit you (Plenty of room for adjusting).

This swimming belt tether works great! I very much enjoy swimming in my own pool i.s.o. having to go to a public pool. I did have to be creative to attach the loop somewhere and came up with a clamp for the spa coping (just an idea if you don't have a pole to hook it to). One observation is that the strap pulls my hips down some while swimming but since I'm not moving forward, it doesn't bother me.

I bought this while training for my first Ironman. I travel at least once a month for work and also took this on a vacation to EU. Takes a bit of time to get used to, but otherwise perfect for completing swim workouts in small pools. My longest swim with the belt was about 45 minutes, and I never experienced discomfort around my waist.

We were debating whether to buy an endless pool when a friend mentioned this simple swimming belt. We have an oval pool, and I anchor one end to a short side. I can swim 'laps' in place, and it works great!

Wir nutzten den Schwimmgurt in unserem Pool, da wir keine Gegenstromanlage besitzen. "Gummiband" einfach am Rand befestigen, den Gurt umlegen und los geht's. Funktioniert! Einziges Manko: Die Plastikschnalle ist leider nach kurzer Zeit gebrochen, sodass wir diese ersetzen mussten.

This works well and is well built for the price. I have had a waist-belt style system previously and it would slip over my hips easily, however this can't slip over your feet and has the added benefit of stretching your back slightly due to the forward momentum.

Der Schwimmgurt hat einen sehr hohen Tragkomfort, das Seil ist sehr elastisch, man kann mit dem Schwimmgurt sehr gut an Ort schwimmen. Einziger Wermuthstropfen: Die Metallöse, welche den Schwimmgurt mit dem Seil verbindet, beginnt schon nach einem Monat zu rosten (kein Sazwasser, Verbindungsring ist nur beim Schwimmbetrieb im Wasser).
