Life changer
Our little guy is a rescue from an animal hoarder, where he and 71 other animals were living in a double wide trailer... And we're fed whatever was available. He was very malnourished and RAVENOUS, lol. We couldn't chew gum without him trying to poke his little snoot into our mouths. But because of his original situation, even though we were feeding him a full portion he was constantly in survival mode. We didn't want to overfeed him, but it constantly felt like feeding him. His full portion in one sitting was somehow underfeeding him. So I got this feeder, and after filling it I had it dispense 1 portion I weigh that portion then repeated that process... For the food we use (Stella and Chewy's raw coated kibble), each portion dispensed by this feeder is around 67 g. So I just divided out his normal portion by 67 g, and set a timer to go off every so many hours. Dispensing one portion until we reached his full portion for the day. That way he was eating all day long but still only eating one full portion for the day. One year in, and he is no longer ravenous. Though. Sometimes he does get grumpy and want his food faster than his timer is ready to go off... But he has never tried to break into it, and he no longer sticks his head in my mouth when I try to eat. This feeder has maintained connection to our internet, and never failed to go off on time. The app is super nice though. There is a slight lag between the dispense time and the notification to my phone, but never more than 2 minutes and mostly it's within the first minute. The only time it has failed to go off is when he has bumped the cord out of the wall, but the app notifies you that there was a failure in timing so that was super helpful. All in all, this has been a life changer for one sweet little fluffy boy!

Very reliable and worth it
Bought this feeder in 2022. Just recently the feeder’s motor finally stopped working! It’s Feb 2026! Such a good run. This is an incredibly efficient cat feeder. Here are a couple of notes to consider. 1. The spill resistance isn’t great after a year. I had to create my own latch to cover the lid after two spill incidents. 2. The portion sizes are not consistent. But not too inconsistent that I was any kind of worried about the portion itself. But with a dispensing feeder that makes sense. 3. The app is a little laggy and not very user friendly but it’s easy to figure out with some time. 4. Super easy to put together. Loved this feeder so much and I am sad to throw it away. I’m sure now that it’s 2026 there’s new and improved versions and I hope they last just as long as

Great product My tabby, cat female wakes me up at 3 AM every morning to eat
This product is remarkable. I have a three year-old tabby cat female that wakes me up at 3 AM in the morning, scratching and biting my head, which is very annoying because she’s hungry. So I’m able to set a schedule where it will feed her at 3 AM in the morning and then the other half of her breakfast at about 6 AM and then for dinner I have it set up for 4 PM and 6 PM I’m going on a trip in June 2026 and only will be gone a few days but at least I can manage her food no matter where I am, which is really a blessing I’m not text savvy. I am an 84 year-old woman and it was so easy to set it up on my iPhone unbelievable just unbelievable. So the manufacturer seller really created a lovely product in my opinion I told my sister about the Papifeed she thought about ordering one and then today she contacted me to order this product. Our cats wake us up in the middle of the night. You are able to program it according to your cats behavior at least mine again great product.

Good while it lasted
This feeder worked great and then it didn’t. I’ve had it for almost 2 years and only use it when I travel, which is only a couple of times a year. I was about to leave for a little Easter getaway and was setting the feeder up only to find out it didn’t work. I could hear the motor working, but nothing was dispensing. Luckily I was able to borrow my sister's feeder for the weekend. Now I have to purchase another one. I’ll probably be looking for another model.

Works great
I’ve been using it a little over two weeks. Sometimes I work late and wanted something that would hold storage and keep my fur baby on a schedule so I don’t have to rush home, was also an ease of mind when going out of town. I thought you could use this without batteries since it mentions dual power and could not. I figured out that no matter how close it is to the router it just won’t stay connected without batteries when you leave and it just stops connecting which was weird. Since I started using the dual power with the batteries I have no issues staying connected through the app and being able to set a schedule and the app sends a notification at a 30 second ish delay but it’s delivered the food without a problem. The portion sizes are really small but you can measure personally to see how much of the portions to give at one time which is helpful. It makes a beeping noise when it is feeding time and I think he’s learned that and goes straight for the food when it dispenses. The app also shows the level of battery left on the batteries which is holding up pretty well and I haven’t had to change them since I started using it and it’s still at a full charge. It holds a decent amount of food and I like that the stainless steel bowl is detachable to clean right away without having to take the whole thing apart, even the storage part is easily detachable on the sides. Was easy to clean and put together, instructions were easy to follow and there was even a bar code to scan that gives you the correct app which was called smart life. Overall I have no complaints and would definitely recommend.

Great for Small Animals. Don’t use the backup batteries.
I got this a few weeks ago and so far it works as intended, letting me feed your dog from pretty much anywhere. It keeps a feed log in case you’re forgetful, and hooks up quickly to echo devices. Some things to note: It said to put AA batteries in the bottom, to make sure it stays connected to your network during a power outage. Anytime I had batteries in there, I was constantly resetting it by taking the batteries out and unplugging, because it had gotten disconnected from my network (hence the four stars). I took the batteries out and no longer have this issue. But if it is ever disconnected again all I have to do is unplug it, versus take the whole thing apart and flip it upside down to get a battery out. Not to mention this was the hardest compartment I’ve ever tried to fit batteries into. It only takes small dog food (I think the manual said between 1/4” and 1/2” sized food is preferred), so don’t get this if you have a dog who eats larger foods. It stores the food in little chambers that are cycled and pour out one at a time, so you’ll need to figure out how many pours it takes to get to what you normally feed your pet and then set that as the default. There is a slight pause between each pour. There is an annoying beep that goes off by default when you use this machine, but you can mute or turn it off in the app. It is not noted well, but it is the toggle switch in the top right corner. I’ve got a small corgi and this was one of the less expensive auto feeders at the time of purchasing. I don’t know that I would buy it again, but it works well for me, for now.

The Smart Automatic Cat or Dog Feeder with WiFi
The Smart Automatic Cat or Dog Feeder with WiFi and app control is a game-changer for pet owners looking for a convenient and reliable way to feed their cats remotely. It allows you to schedule feedings, adjust portion sizes, and monitor meal times directly from your smartphone, ensuring your pet stays on a consistent feeding schedule—even when you’re not home. Pros: ✔ Remote Feeding Control – The app makes it easy to schedule meals and adjust portions anytime, anywhere. ✔ Customizable Meal Plans – Helps maintain a healthy diet by controlling portion sizes and feeding times. ✔ Large Capacity – Holds enough food to feed your cat for several days, reducing the need for constant refills. ✔ Backup Battery Option – Ensures continued operation in case of a power outage. ✔ Two-Way Audio (on Some Models) – Some versions include a microphone so you can talk to your pet. Cons: ❌ Requires a Stable WiFi Connection – If the internet goes out, remote control may not work. ❌ May Not Work with All Food Types – Larger kibble sizes can sometimes get stuck. ❌ Initial Setup Can Be Tricky – Connecting the feeder to WiFi and setting up the app may take some time. Final Verdict: The Smart Automatic Cat Feeder is a must-have for busy pet owners who want to ensure their cat gets timely and portion-controlled meals. The app control, scheduling options, and backup power make it a reliable and convenient tool. While it requires WiFi stability and works best with small-to-medium kibble, its overall ease of use and functionality make it a great investment. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Not fully tamper proof for a hungry smart cat.
I am reviewing this 3 years and one month later. This is a great product that has served me well. Always worked. That is until my cat has figured out to reach her paw where the food comes out. She was only able to score a couple niblets for a while. But just a couple weeks ago her little pickpocketing routine broke the feeder. It still attempts to feed but nothing comes out. Other than that. Excellent.

NO lock on dispense button.. it's way TOO prominent for my smart, ever hungry cat.
Edit: okay - I'll edit this from 3-star to 5-star for the after-sale service from the seller who was nice enough to contact us to provide solution/compensation for the review below. Reminder TLDR: The dispense-now button is prominent enough at the front so your hungry pet may press it while nosing the device. If your pet isn't always craving for food like mine, it might be fine as otherwise it works perfectly as expected (even still, after a few months). -- Hey folks, so I have a orange tabby who LOVES eating more than anything else, and I got this product out of many brands that have gibberish names on Amazon mainly due to price when I had to leave the cat home alone for 2+ days without a cat sitter. It works fine in its most basic sense - easy to setup (it's got the most basic mechanism of dispensing food that you can think of, nothing fancy); big amount of container so it would hold a lot of food in storage; don't like having another app for just this but it works fine, easy to setup timers, has "feed now" feature which is also handy at times, it gives you the notification every time food is dispensed which is also nice. However the biggest problem I have is that the cat now knows there's more food to come if he urges on the machine, because it WOULD give him more food if he does that. He started by sitting nearby the machine close to / after the feeding time, as if he's praying to the alter of food for more, but then the nosing(?) started. He would nose the machine close to where the dispense button is (sometimes he would also claw into the hole where the food comes out, which would drop him a couple of kibbles most times) - and voila, the food god will answer and food dispenses.. because the dispense button got pressed. I would of course take away the bowl to keep him from eating the unauthorized dispense of food (because even though he's not fat like Garfield, he's still on a diet as recommended by my vet) but I think that made him now wolf up even the officially timer-dispensed food so quickly that the food usually ends up back on my living room floor (i.e. pukes). I saw some other products, can't remember the brand but it was probably ktojekgffz, or rt90kj, or qnj+_ojj'gsdf;;ffjio (one of these three for sure), but I remember seeing one product that had the feature to LOCK the dispense button which could come really handy for me right now. WELP, too late to return this one, so I have to think of alternative options if I'm to keep a automatic dispenser for my poor boy. TLDR; if your pet is an always-hungry beast, be aware that the "FEED" button is waaay too easy to be pressed. Good luck and go love your pets!

Better than most
This unit is used for two cats as a supplementary/grazing feeder. What I liked: Deep dish. Very few biscuits spill out. The ability to schedule lots of feed sessions and portion control. A viewable history log of feeds. Ability to add ad hoc or additional feeds via mobile app. I use a camera to monitor feed station. Stainless steel feed bowl is easy to remove and clean. Food tank is big. What I don't like: Nothing really. It works well.
