Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone - 2022 Upgrade Wired to Wireless Apple Carplay Dongle, 5GHz WiFi, Low Latency, Easy-to-Install, Plug & Play

I have this hooked up with a iphone 7 plus ios 15.6 everything works great. I'm able to use spotify, waze and other carplay apps. I'm currently using the usb c port on the wrangler. Only my front and console USB's have enough power to run the unit. The USB's in the backseat area don't have enough power to keep unit going. Not the units fault but Jeep for cutting corners on the power wattage to the ports. Perhaps a 2 USB to one for power might work to use the backseat ports. Overall I really enjoy having wireless carplay. Every once in a while it'll jam but a simple unplug and plug in and youre going again in 20-30 seconds. I also have connected it to the usb in the console to keep it hidden and it works great in there. Nice part is that if you play spotify or youtube videos(it doesnt display them) but the sound will supercede everything and start playing without having to change modes. Glad I purchased!!

This product worked very well in the beginning then after two months it would periodically disconnect from the phone. Eventually it just stopped connecting & if it did it would stop for that whole day

This review is in reference to the Carplay adapter. This thing is amazing. The set up was simple and the results are wonderful. My vehicle has Carplay, and I was tired of hooking up wires for the desired results. With this item, it auto logs in via blue tooth. Great product and fast shipping. This item does what it says.

At first the unit worked, although it was a slow startup and I could not find a way to have it auto start the music. After about a week, I started having problems, including the unit not starting CarPlay and requiring an unplug / plugin to get it to start working again. Given the problems, I performed a software update, which seemed to work without issue (and the instructions were straight forward). After the update though, the unit would show the splash screen when it booted and stay there. Tech support was responsive and sent another update to me; however, it required a Windows system and I have a Mac. Support was trying to find another way for me to apply the update, but by this point I just returned the unit. When it did work though, it worked pretty well. I would prefer a faster processor in the unit even if that meant a higher cost.

It works decent but maybe 75% of the time. Has issues reconnecting to phone. There is a good delay also. I will be returning it.
