Got this so I could use an MP3 player with one speaker and one set of headphones rather than plugging and unplugging them. This fits both as expected and does indeed split the sound into both. HOWEVER, the sound quality disappeared. Or rather, I lost a large portion of the lower registers so that the sound is now treble-heavy. It's "okay," in that regard, but far from ideal and what I wanted. Still, overall, this works and would be fine for something like a portable DVD player or maybe even gaming, but for actual music listening, less than ideal.

I had a dilemma with my work from home employer provided locked down Windows 10 laptop. I am on Microsoft Teams and Avaya voip all day. Even though I use an Elegato Wave 3 microphone and the monitoring 3.5mm jack on the back of the microphone which should theoretically allow me to use headphones and use the laptop speakers for the call ring tone. Windows 10 would not cooperate with me despite trying everything I could change in Windows audio settings and that IT allowed, EVEN AFTER involved IT to troubleshoot with updated audio drivers. Win 10 Enterprise simply refuse to work reliably with the headphones connected to the mic. It would work for an hour, then stop and the callers could not hear me or I couldn't hear them. Unfortunately, Radio Shacks are no longer available near by so I ordered this from Amazon. This low tech old school of way of connecting a speaker and my headphones work more reliably that changing the settings in Windows to use one 3.5mm for audio out and the laptop speakers for the ringing audio. It's not ideal because I have to turn off the external speakers before picking up the line, but I can hear the call ringing if I happen to be in the kitchen. Perhaps the problem will get solved once my employer decides to move to Windows 11. It's definitely an issue with the company laptop because I don't experience the same problem when I use the same setup with my own personal Windows 11 laptop or my 2024 Mac Mini. So old simple gets the job done!

I don't normally give bad reviews (you know... if you don't have something nice to say and all that). When I received this, the sound was not a good quality through the headphones, plus it kept cutting out...so you couldn't move at all. I got a dud with a bad cord, evidently. The worst part was, I tried to return it through Amazon, but it said this manufacturer didn't offer returns. I had to call them. I explained the situation and was put on hold, just for them to come back and tell me to return it through Amazon. Obviously, they weren't listening to me when I told them the company didn't offer returns. This item wasn't that expensive...I just wanted a refund. But after being put on hold TWO more times, they finally said I would get an email and to provide a photo of the item, the e-receipt, and my shipping address. I did receive a replacement, but the sound is still of poor quality. (At least this one doesn't cut out.) But I will be purchasing a better one on Amazon. Don't bother with this splitter or this company that doesn't offer returns and has a less-than-stellar customer service experience.

Quality of this product is really questionable. Fit of the 3.5 female connection is poor and can noticeably effect sound quality. Bought two. Already threw one out. Recommend AudioQuest (or other name brands) as a better option..

Esta bueno, se siente de calidad y bastante duradero, lo uso para conectar dos audifonos al mismo tiempo y se escuchan bien, lo único malo seria que los dos audifonos tendran el mismo volumen y se puede escuchar algo alto o bajo para la otra persona pero eso ya no es cosa del cable

Purchased for a flight with my kids. My daughter was on my lap and if they happened to be showing something on the flight that we all wanted to watch i wanted the opportunity for us all to be able to listen. I assume that I may also use these in the future if the kids are using an ipad or watching something in the car together and we want to listen to our own music. I have zero complaints after about 4 months of having it. Belkin has always delivered solid products in my experience.

Didn't work - just made a loud buzzing noise! I swapped it for another lead and all was well.

Funciona muito bem. Quem comprar esteja ciente que vai haver perda de volume, mas por mim tudo bem pois a caixa de som e o headset que eu uso tem regulagem, é só aumentar um pouco.
